Broner v Paulie on allegedly
Great news fight on uk tv!
Re: Broner v Paulie on Allegedly channel
Brilliant new. I had a look on the website the other day & was bemoaning the lack of fights on there, but just been on now & the schedule looks like it is filling up quite nicely.

Shame, was hoping Sky would pick it up.
Re: Broner v Paulie on Allegedly channel
Great news. I wish Sky would just pack in with boxing to be honest.

How many non UK/non Matchroom fighter shows have they picked up in the last year out of interest?MarkMcBurney wrote:Shame, was hoping Sky would pick it up.

Strange isn't it. allegedly must surely be bidding more (surely Sky must be trying to get some of them too) and thus must be making good money from showing all these US and German bills that they get in. Fair play to them.MarkMcBurney wrote:Very few.jameswilson wrote:How many non UK/non Matchroom fighter shows have they picked up in the last year out of interest?MarkMcBurney wrote:Shame, was hoping Sky would pick it up.

Re: Broner v Paulie on Allegedly channel
I can only remember one Vegas fight not involving a British fighter or Matchroom fighter in the last year or so; can't even remember who it was.jameswilson wrote:Strange isn't it. I don't think Sky give a shit about boxing outside of their deal with Matchroom, which is a shame because their HD channels are phenomenal.
Re: Broner v Paulie on Allegedly channel
Doesn't allegedly have a deal with Golden Boy and gets a preference on all their shows.
Hopefully the whole Chisora Wilder fiasco hasn't jeopardised this

Sky can't afford the fights, as they have to spend the cash on sending Adam and Johnny over to Madrid first class, so they can spend a few days there and interview Andy Murray.

Good on the channel. Judging by the tone on here I think people are starting to have a lil more sympathy for Bunny competing with the permatan essex boy and his Sky love in.
I just hope the fans get the best value in the end!

I have nothing against the channel, if money was no object I would subscribe but I don't think it's really acceptable in this day & age that they charge £10 for a service with no HD channel.

I did hear they are going HD, they need to keep the price at £10.00 though.MarkMcBurney wrote:I have nothing against the channel, if money was no object I would subscribe but I don't think it's really acceptable in this day & age that they charge £10 for a service with no HD channel.
