These body shots are gonna catch up with Simpson. Choi has hammered a lot of feathers and Super feathers over here so I have to say I thought before the fight it was a somewhat unusual choice of opponent (assuming they thought he could win) and my opinion hasn't changed.

Choi is pressing without doing much, Simpson is just doing a bit more, Choi put a lot in the first 2 having a bit of a breather.

Choi has the foot on the gas again, started off fast, Simson got back into it in the second half of the round, the fight is warming up lovely, Choi's round

When Choi walks Simson down and wings away he is the boss but can he keep the work rate up? When he takes his foot off the gas Simpson chips away well on the outside, Choi 's body shots look hurtful but the Scot has just worked harder this round for me.

Michael Sweeney is so frustrating. Talented boxer, regular spar partner for Klitschko, Abraham and Dawson, but just never manages to get into condition.

Choi is def focusing on the body, but Simpson is beginning to negate his work, and continues to chip away on the outside. Choi keeps coming forward withouth throwing enough, another round to Simpson, he evens it up 3-3

Simpson starts strongly at the start of the 7th, pushing Choi back for the first time, He needs a second wind, clear round for Scot, all the rounds have been quite clear so far 4-3 to Simpson

Choi wings wildly at the start of the 8th, all missing, the Scot is now out boxing him at his own pace. Big effort from Choi this round without being effective or landing much. Simpson prob had a bit of a round off, even for me. Simpson did the better cleaner work but Choi worked harder. 4-3-1

Simpson in command again, landing good shots at range, nothing much coming back from Choi, the Scot took his foot of the gas in the second half of the round but Choi didn't do much either 5-3-1 Simpson

Choi needs to make the big effort now and he is this round, both fighters look tired though, it's been a hard rough fight.
Another close round, the fight is following a similar pattern but Choi has done just enough 5-4-1 Simpson

Big championship rounds from either fighter will be enough in this fight, both really feeling the pace now. Choi has had too many rounds off really including this one and Simpson out boxes him at distance again 6-4-1 Simpson
