Tarver is too good, it'd end in similar fashion I recon. Maybe a rematch with Wlod would be the better option.

Agreed, really agree!
Agreed also, if it did happen green would seriously have to consider hanging up his gloves for good.

Strict testing if it ever did, would rather the wlod fight.

Surely Green is now retired even if he hasn't formally announced it.

Do we really want to see respected old champs recycled until it ends badly. Surly a new era has dawned with the likes of Daniel Geale and the up and coming Jeff Horn.

Agree with everyone else who says that Tarver is a bad match up stylewise for Green. Green only has a punchers chance in that fight and not a big one IMO.

Green cant beat Wlod. He may do well for a few rounds but Wlod's strength and power will overwhelm Green again.
Greeny is a Ltheavy fighting at Cruiser. Id rather see him back at Ltheavy were he could still be a threat to the top 2-3 guys. At cruiser he isnt big enough to beat the top 5 guys.

Having said that. I would really rather see him retire. He has nothing more to prove and plenty of coin. He is 40 now and all the brutal fights he has been in will eventually catch up with him.

i agree, hope he doesn't fight agiain. those 2 losses he had to Tarver and Wlod showed that he is too old to be in there with the elite. a nice win over Cameron was a good way to finish a career i think.

Awesome career and nothing left to prove. Although I am sure we will see a 45yo green v a 43 choc in 2018.

I agree - time to hang them up. I don't want to see him fighting Wlod again - I think the result would be the same.

i agree he has nothing left to prove....BUT, what i want to see is: Offer an immesnse amount of money and get Bhop (who has been ordered to defend his belt against a no reward high risk opponent) to Perth for one last bout at Perth Arena. Make it a catch weight if required. No need for belts, neither should be interested in trickets anymore. This is my selfish side coming out, and its highly unlikely (more like never).
Good luck what ever decision he makes, but steer away from Tarver or Wlod.

Disagree, i think he beats Wlod, and would love to see it, he always has learnt from his loss's, and he showed against Cameron, theres a way to fight bigger guys with mobig punchs.

Its hard to say if soemone learnt from their loss or not, when they go on to fight someone of much lower calibre, such as cameron.

Danny certainly didn't learn from his loss to Beyer, albeit in strange circumstances, as Beyer beat him 2nd time around.

I think Wlod would KO danny again because, unfortunately, Danny has gotten that little bit older and his punch resistance a little lower. Nothing wrong with that at all, he has been an aussie boxing legend, but at 40 years of age, time to hand them up.

By no means Dan, do I think that Cameron is on Wlods level, but they're not worlds apart either, the first fight was a good one, I think Danny can hurt Wlod, and Wlod knows that, so he'll tighten up again in the first 5 or 6 with his high guard. Green just has to Geale it, and increase that training regime by 20 percent and don't be afraid to nullify ones strength with tactics from 7 on. This is were I think he has learnt from his mistakes, not everyone can be knocked out, and " pride comes before the fall" nothing wrong with winning ugly. A wins a win, and he has never avenged a loss, this is certainly, a career defining fight, and either way a great way to go out.

Lt heavy was his best weight, but he obviously can't make the weight, people complained about catch weight/ Danny weight, so it is what is, he's a fighter through and through, he just has to adjust, no shame in that.

I agree with everything u said but I just don't think Danny would be able to make those adjustments. He loves the war too much and his pride would have him In There wanting to knock wlod out
