I thought it was close but I had Nav by 2 rounds. Tyan spent too much time spoiling.

In fairness a lot of the fights were one sided.

Don't hate the player hate the game.Dorje Shugden wrote:'One sided' fights on a Coldwell show ..... neverpyenest77 wrote:In fairness a lot of the fights were one sided.
Coldwell is doing what he has to do, give his fighters a chance to fight locally, gain experience and improve their record in order to get more recognition nationally.
I'm sure we'd all like to see many more 50/50 fights but when the fighters are starting out at small hall shows they need to play the game.
Unfortunately this sport currently places too much emphasis on the Won column rather than the fighter's they've had experience fighting, win or lose. Caldwell himself has IMO put on some cracking bouts in the last 12 months.

Re: Caldwell show this friday .
Wasnt any worse than seen up and down the country each week .
The foreign lads werent up to much but from what i gathered one was late notice and one was expected to be much tougher .

Last nights show was hard work!
I'm fully aware it wasn't the best show I've put on but you can't win them all.
I give it a 6/10
Woodhouse opponent was a late late change.
Gay it's opponent beat an unbeaten kid over here and was expected to be a decent fight for him at this stage.
Booth was a late notice job - Tuesday afternoon!
I thought that was a decent match up still and proved to be a well fought contest.
McCassey got dropped by his opponent, bit of drama there!
For the next sheffield show there will have to be improvement.
6/10 isn't acceptable.

Not one bit but I don't feel the need to post about it. This is boxing. If I did post about every missmatch from every show I watched/attended/worked I'd never be off the forum.Dorje Shugden wrote:So you consider a 10 - 1 fighter against a 0 - 0 - 1 fighter a fair match? The Insider wrote:Still a shite post
As has already been said if you think this kind of match is a rare and dreadful thing to have on a pro show you need to get to more shows. This happens week In week out up and down the country so why you feel you need to point this out on this particular show may show you have an ulterior motive or axe to grind?
