Haye bill refunds - Eventim

Post by broomy7s »

So how many of us have been conned by only getting the face value refunded. Eventim do not refund booking fee's as per terms & conditions. They must be raking it in. Some of the ringside booking fee's where ridiculous. King Eddie has tweeted he's trying to put pressure on eventim.

Surely this is Hayemakers mess to sort out. This could possibly effect ticket sales for his next appearance as people like myself will be weary to take the risk of losing out again.

How dare they stick to the agreed terms and conditions!

Yeh it's a bit of a ballache, on a £205 order I'm getting £180 back. So £25 been paid for absolutely zilch. I can understand them keeping the postage, but raking it in on booking fees like that is pretty bad.

im going to complain about not getting book fee back.

The Venue, the Event promoter or eventim shall have no liability beyond the face value of the ticket purchased by you PLUS the relevant per ticket service charge

Eventim do not refund booking fee's as per terms & conditions

You agreed to those terms and conditions when you purchased the ticket, it's how they make money.

I think for the few times these cancellations actaully happen when you think of all the events on that site, you'd think they might be able to give people a booking fee refund, when you think about the thousands of booking fees they make out of people day in day out. Rip off merchants!

They are scammers. They want you to re-post your ticket to them using recorded delivery. Those in London can go to their address and drop it off in person, though they discourage this. When I saw the F1 car in the office lobby the booking fees all added up

Personally think it's a disgrace that booking fees aren't being refunded as well. Haye has stated anyone that has bought tickets will not be subjected to booking fees for his next fight at MEN arena. I don't know how they can enforce that. I will be vary wary of booking tickets to see him fighting in future. Very suspicious event has been cancelled and not postponed. Also booked hotel and travel so pleased matchroom have at least put on a reasonable show in the area
