Theres nobody but Ward at SMW and it doesnt seem like they fancy him. That leaves the light heavy division. Hearn could always give Bellew another fight with the promise of facing winner of Froch Dawson?

Had it level, 5 5 2. Perhaps could give Froch the odd swing round (and on balance deserved it) but 118-110 was a disgrace. Kessler won 4 clearly.

Light heavy isn't an option IMO. The man walks around at super mid, at the most.

At super mid its another defeat to Ward or going over old ground again. Maybe the rubber match with Kessler.

Neither man is a spring chicken. Good time to bow out, not that I think Froch will.
Kessler has Bika, Stieglitz, Bute, Abraham, Ward, Chavez Jr, Groves, Rodriguez etc.

Froch has Ward, Hopkins, Cleverly, Groves, DeGale, Pascal, Dawson etc.

Hopkins, no matter how horrible a fight it would be, brings a lot of money, and huge exposure.

Just got back. Had it 117-114 (6-3-3).

Brilliant fight, and an amazing atmosphere.

In fairness I had the fight a draw going into the final round... Kessler won the first 2 minutes of that round then Froch finished strong.. I think scoring fairly Kessler would have just sneaked it!! I know no one will agree on here but anyone who has it by more than 2 rounds doesn't have a clue.. Was a very close fight with 2 or 3 close rounds the rest were clear. Jim Watt changed his scorecard!! He had Kessler winning 9,10 and 11 then he decided to change it wonder why

Watt constantly contradicts himself. He needs to pack it in. I thought Froch won it by 3 and even though it was close at times it was a clear win. Kessler didn't seem very surprised either.

I think he wasn't surprised because he was away from home.. I can see 3 rounds in that but I wouldn't argue 2 rounds either way.. Very poor show for box office only 4 fights and 1 really worth watching that's the last 3 or 4 shows on sky that have been quite poor

Froch isn't a light heavy so rules out Hopkins and Dawson. Ward beats him again.
The others are just not worthy or in Pascal's case going over old ground.

I think the rubber match will interest both

Anyone thinks Hopkins they are crazy, are you listening Eddie Hearn ? You're guaranteed a mega boring snore fest with the cagey old bastard.
George Groves, why not, not sure Booth will fancy it...

I can See it being Groves next

But id like to see if he can go for the other belts to further unify , Go for Stieglitz WBO and the vacant WBC which if i remember rightly Sakio Bika is fighting for soon whom id also favour froch against .

thats 3 fights there , could have 4 belts , might have a Mandatory to deal with in between . so call that 4 fights and 2 years , who then knows where Ward will be or what other guys have come onto the scene , but he will the have the option to either retire or chase ward for the rematch in the UK and having 4 belts to help tempt ward over .

No, it doesn't. A lot of fighters have moved up a division to take a fight!

Froch beat Kessler clearly the second time. I don't want to see a third match.

You scored the fight to Kessler, who are you to criticise other people's scorecards?

definitely rule out 175.

i don't like froch going for ward after such a brutal fight. would love to see a huge domestic fight with groves or degale, first.

but carl is an ambitious and proud and obsessive man and he wants to erase not one, but two defeats.

can froch get ward over here? if the ref doesn't let ward spoil, will froch be able to get to him? is ward's spoiling to cover up a glass chin, exposed in an early scare vs a clubfighter, a few years ago?

maybe ward moves up to 175, an option, for the american who used to campaign at 175. leaving all the prizes for froch...

Well, whilst I think my draw card is giving the two close rounds to Kessler you shouldn't change your card cause it doesn't fit the norm. Looking at your card horse as you were scoring it....you had it 107-102 going into the 12th....and then scored it 117-112 at the end....did you change your card.

How can you give the 10th to Froch.

Carl isn't a light heavy though. It's not as if he walks around at 14 stone and boils down to super mid.
I don't think he is looking t moving up and has said he is a super middleweight, so I would take that as ruling out Dawson or Hopkins unless they come down.

I suspect Froch and Kessler won't take in to account what you want to see if they fancy the rubber match. Both fights were won with similar margins, and both were fairly close and of course entertaining. Would be easy to make and sell

I had it 107-103 after 11 rounds.

Just got back from London, great fight, great atmosphere and Froch really seems to have gone to a new level as a 'star' of British boxing now, which is great to see after all those years grafting away and not getting that much recognition for it.

I saw a close fight, that Froch just edged, I had it 115-113 Froch. I also think Froch won his rounds bigger than Kessler won his, I know that doesn't matter on the scorecards but I thougt Froch was the more effective and aggressive fighter last night, which just swung it his way. Great fight.

Some bizarre cards I've heard. On Bbc hatton and Bunce were doing their cards....Ricky actually scored the fight on a round by round basis like me....first 3 Froch, then Kessler next three, Froch next 2 , Kessler next 3 and Froch last. When asked his final tally he said Froch by three! Bunce had it level through 6 but when asked his final card he said Froch by 4....Feasable but while he didn't get asked how he scored the rounds he was agreeing with Ricky. Ricky though was asked how he scored each round and he clearly changed the card after the fight!

I also had the fight a draw, though I admit Froch won his round bigger than Kessler.

My problem is the sheep mentality of pundits. Hatton's adjustment of his card to fit in with the common consensus, and Jim 'What?' giving Froch the 11th, solely to keep pace with the 'Froch is winning this by a good few rounds' mentality annoys me....stick to your guns.

Look at it this way, a draw is more realistic than the 118-110 scorecard
