I didn't know he was until Datsue mentioned it, I was hoping he stayed at SM, as it's getting to be the hottest division in boxing right now - maybe that's why he's moving up - having a big punch is not much use against Carl Froch, and you can't even hit Andre Ward.

Not sure about that. He has a good jab and movement, plus power and good speed.

Froch is coming towards the end and GG is coming into his own, imo.


12 months and it's a 55/45 fight in CF favour.

Always really liked George Groves, thought he would go on to be good from when I first saw him in a very early fight on a Haye undercard. But he has improved a lot more and certainly more quickly than I expected.

Who do you reckon they get him in with next? Sounds like they will probably try and get him out once in the summer and then I'm guessing they would go for Steiglitz in the Autumn?
