Groves Vs DeGale II

How do you see this going now?

I think Groves has progressed much more since their last fight.

Dare I say a Groves stoppage win?

groves has come on a lot but also degale as and I reckon degale skills outweight groves by a mile but groves has more heart and power, it was close last fight and it would be close again if they fought a second time

Degale is a pitty past shoeshine flashy style, but it's more style than substance, imo.

3-0 GG

Amateur 1-0
Pro 2-0

I blame GG!

For his first 10 fights degails calibre of oppanants was very high. 3 years on and it's no better IMO. Groves by stoppage

It's an interesting one. I remember George saying in an interview that he didn't really plant his feet in the first fight and that the idea was just to score points and get back out of the way. I wonder if Groves would be more confident the second time round in planting his feet to get more power in the shots and, in doing that, would Degales faster hand speed enable him catch George more cleanly than he did in the first fight?

Also, although he hasn't proved it against top opposition, i get the feeling Degale is tough and can take a good shot and while he isn't the biggest hitter himself he hits hard enough to put Groves in trouble.

I would tip George in a rematch, as i did in the first fight, but it would still be close and definitely not an easy nights work.
