Over 190 Press/Fan Scores from the Froch-Kessler fight

Thanks for posting your scores on this forum. Managed to collected over 190 scores with around 40 of them being press scores.

The vast majority scored for Froch but there was quite a few fans who scored the fight a draw and 1 or 2 who thought Kessler won the fight.

Good stuff as usual,

but how anyone could score it for Kessler is an utter joke.

114-114 for me, but 115-113 Froch is acceptable. The wide scores seem pretty bias, the fight wasn't that hard to score, there were rounds where Kesslers defence combined with countering & combo punching were clear enough to overide Froch's aggression and desire to land power shots. Byrd should be ashamed.... 10-2 to Froch is laughable.

A draw to 2 round either way and i wouldn't have any grumbles - the 8 round difference was a joke.

I had it 1 round to Froch going in to the 12th, which was a hard round to score! Kessler was winning the round for the first 2 minutes then Froch rallied hard which led to me giving it Froch.

was the boxrec total from the round by round section thread?

edit: oops, is the first round by round card after the summary the average scores? 116-112

are the official judges round by round scorecards anywhere?
i had it a draw but said there are a few rounds that could have gone either
way and froch would probably get the nod.
the 118-110 card was baffling.

I must admit I was scratching my head as well when I heard that scorecard from Adalaide Byrd as well. I had it Froch 117-112 on my card from where I was sitting at the O2.

So your cars was very similar to hers. Why were you scratching your head then?
