silly bloody arguments on here end up ruining things I think. Im not saying that as an innocent party either as I know ive been guilty of it myself. It just seems pointless now though and there's enough hate and bile in the world for us to be aiming it at each other on here. Ps dont mean to sound like a hippy *no offence LC* ;;-)

if you watch the calzaghe/kessler fight calzaghe didnt want to get involved with him at all after he got a big body shot early in the fightbut then watch froch/kessler 1 or 2 and you will see a warrior in froch who ignores most of what is thrown at him and trades to the death. froch imo would of beaten calzaghe by late stoppage just my opinion

I've not seen the fight for years but wasn't it Kessler that didn't want to know after he got a body shot? Pretty sure he also mentioned it in a post fight interview.

Aye, it came relatively late in the fight. Calzaghe was troubled by right hands to the head, particularly a peach of a right uppercut.

Exactly. Think it was right at the end of the eighth - Kessler would have gone down/taken a count if it had been earlier as Calzaghe was about to pour it on when the bell rang and gave him the recovery time. Kessler himself admitted he wasn't the same after that as it took a lot out of him.

Im not sure if Calzaghe was properly troubled by those shots. Dont get me wrong you can clearly tell he felt them but he never wobbled or anything to be fair to him. Just like Froch, he had a great chin himself.
