Re: ronnie the shark
I wouldn't ask Tommy for any sparring again anyway mate, its well known he has little time for me and really ive less for him so no loss of sleep there, he really needs to stop using Ricky's name to promote his own.
Suppose that's the way it goes,I'm sure Tommy and everyone in boxing knows Alex has clearly the best stable in Scotland, it speaks volumes really just ask yourself how long ago did Tommy have a tv date in Scotland? Maybe 2 in last 3-4 years?
The balance of power has indeed swung and swung massively

I don't agree with that apart from Ricky both stables are about the same level. If I'm not mistaken Tommy has more fighters than Alex. Billy boxing on tv is never a guarantee and I'm sure no one would be surprised if the situation with sky changed again! I think both are head and shoulders above anyone else in Scotland.. If Ronnie had signed with Alex there was no guarantee of him being on tv Tommy seems to do more shows throughout the year and that's what Ronnie needs. It's not a Tommy v Alex situation it's about Ronnie trying to move on his career. As for sparring with Ricky, I'm sure if Billy needed someone like Ronnie he would pick up the phone. As far as I'm aware Billy and Ronnie have a good working relationship unless I've missed somethingbilly nelson wrote:I wouldn't ask Tommy for any sparring again anyway mate, its well known he has little time for me and really ive less for him so no loss of sleep there, he really needs to stop using Ricky's name to promote his own.

Re: ronnie the shark
Any word on when Ronnie's first outing with Gilmour will be?
Noticed he's been sparring up in Aberdeen this past week so there must be something in the pipeline you would hope.

Looking like he will be out end of June/start of July as far as I'm aware nothing has been confirmed yet. Hopefully some news in the next week or soDuffus91 wrote:Any word on when Ronnie's first outing with Gilmour will be?
