Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
Stand up tall fighters who are easy to hit are made for Haye.
The trash talking in the build up to this one will be amusing.
Haye isn't black by the way HH. He is mixed race, he has a white mother. Race isn't an issue when it comes to boxing in the UK
Also, since when did Furt develop this piston jab!?

You don't think the money will be big enough even without a title? This fight will be huge.jameswilson wrote: A fight with Haye would require negotiation between Hearn, Booth and Hennessy and would require Hennessy to give up to certain demands and Hearn and Booth to give up to certain demands. I'm not convinced that is possible without a World title being held by one of these guys.
Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
He hasnt 'demolished' anyone since turning pro yet he will demolish Haye?Horse wrote:Fury is going to demolish Haye.
Logic 101 there
Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
i would have thought Haye was a greater threat to Fury than Pulev so he's hardly taking easy options here also it will be a bigger pay day for obvious reasons. Sadly the game is all about money these days and if Fury's fighting Haye thats why bravery/cowardice doesn't come into it.
Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
Tyson had two choices get whooped by Pulev or get whooped by Haye. Getting whooped by Haye is much better financially so fair play to Hennessy to getting it made. Haye wins this inside 4 easy peasy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great fight and hope it happens. A tad too early for a poll?

Hope this happens.
Fury will be out of there within three rounds.

Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
First one to lands wins.
Haye is chinny at heavy and Fury is a decent puncher, not big, but hits hard enough to stop Haye, and he has good hand speed for a big man plus a bigger fighting heart than Haye, imo.

Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
I suspect I am pre-empting Hayes pre fight bluster, but the key to this one is speed, and Haye wins that hands down. He might even adopt Valuev tactics, but will be more convincing against Fury.

Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
It's a toss up fight. It's quite likely both are vulnerable when hit. It would be by no means an upset for Fury to impose his size on Haye and wear him down for a stoppage.
Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
Oh it would be an upset. Haye is quicker, the better boxer, better at getting out of the way, and he hits harder. Fury has great heart but proved fighting a cruiserweight isn't straightforward, despite his size. I've been amazed at Furys ability to raise his level as his opponents required it and have great admiration for him, but if he was to raise his game and beat Haye then yes, it would without doubt be an upset.polecateddy wrote:It's a toss up fight. Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
A 5 million payday is what i've heard. Thats more than Fury is ver likely the earn in his entire career and its likely he knows it. Thats all the reason he needs, your average gypsy would fight king kong for just a fraction of that money.bengulnaci1 wrote:I can accept that but I doubt Hennesey sees it that way, or Fury, for that matter. You don't go from fighting the guys he has, getting dropped hard by Cunningham, to trying to make a fight with Adamek, to pulling out of a eliminator vs Pulev, to fight David Haye instead.
I would be amazed, if this fight was announced. Truly amazed.

I'm sorry but although the British mags will prob make Haye the favourite, he would be far from the overwhelming favourite. Haye was after all semi-retired before Chisora, and Fury is arguably an improving fighter.JamesH wrote:Oh it would be an upset. Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
Haye should with this fight.
Its easy to let people dislike for haye make us believe hay will lose (eg audley, chisora) but truth is, he is a very good dangerous boxer.
Yes fury has a chance, every fighter has a CHANCE but its time to be realistic.
Haye will use same tactics as vs Wladimir, only problem is Fury is slower than Wladimir and inexperienced.
I believe haye will win by KO (using my head)

Not sure what you've been smoking but its clearly some strong stuff.Horse wrote:Fury is going to demolish Haye.

I don't think its arguable that Fury has improved, its a fact that he has. However, we are talking about a two weight world champion who's a proven world level fighter, against a young pup making his way in the game. I'm not saying there is no chance he would win (although personally I don't think has much chance), just that it would be a huge upset if he did. Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
The two Tyson Fury obsessives on here were adamant Fury would not duck Pulev. How well we remember them smugly assuring us Fury ducks no one and will fight Pulev.
Now he's fighting a man who's been out a year - another man who is small and he is hoping he will be able to maul and bully.
Fury is everything that is wrong with boxing - it's going to be hilarious when Haye makes him do Enzo Macc's funky chicken dance.
This is another easy Enzo Audley Moneymaker for Hayemaker and he well knows it. I almost have to doff my cap to him. God he'll be a wealthy bloke when he retires.

If It's as easy a fight as you say why are you criticising Fury for taking it?loaded_gloves wrote:The two Tyson Fury obsessives on here were adamant Fury would not duck Pulev. How well we remember them smugly assuring us Fury ducks no one and will fight Pulev.

Re: Tyson Fury ducks Kubrat Pulev
Lets be honest, anyone who is objective here knows that Haye is 99.9 % likely to smash Fury up.

Only an idiot would think Haye is 99.9% likely to win.columbo wrote:Lets be honest, anyone who is objective here knows that Haye is 99.9 % likely to smash Fury up.
Get a £10,000 loan out and put it all on Haye if you are so certain he will win.

Because I'm not 99.9% certain like you claimed to be, but I will probably be putting a few quid on Fury to win.columbo wrote:well seeing as you're so sold on Fury, why dont you do the same?
