haye pulls out vs charr, says fury is a natural fight, then fury pulled out of purse bids v pulev...

haye-fury, regardless of how the fight turns out, is a mega-event that will propel the winner into a world title fight perhaps of their choosing.

Haye is giving away 6 inches in reach and height. Thats as well as over 40lbs based on their last fight weight and it shouldn't be ignored.

The last time we saw stats like that it was Valuev - who boxed all wrong and didn't use his size to keep Haye away from him. If Fury stays behind a jab, Haye will have an extremely tough time of it.

Haye can't put Fury to sleep if he can't get to him. It is definitely not a write off of a fight like say Harrison and Haye was.

A lot of this fight will hinge on whether Haye can drag Fury into a brawl, much like Cunningham did (Furys game-plan went clear out of the window). If he can, Haye hits harder than Cunningham, it will be a Haye KO win.

Haye's wins at heavyweight - Bonin (TKO1), Barrett (TKO 5), Valuev (MD 12), Ruiz (TKO 9), Harrison (TKO 3) & Chisora (TKO 5)

Wow, what a murderers' row that is! Fury doesn't stand a chance!

Hard to argue with that. Haye picks cherries better than any cherry picker I know.

Valuev shouldn't have tried to keep Haye away from him he should have chased him, mauled and leaned all over him in that fight.

Fury isn't good enough to keep away from Haye and he doesn't possess the jab to build on.

He needs to use his extra weight and size to do exactly what Valuev should have done. He did it against Cunningham in the end and it was the reason he won.
In terms of actual talent Haye and Fury are chalk and cheese. If they were both 6ft Fury wouldn't even break past domestic level.

Fury can win this fight but its quite unlikely. I think Haye knocks him out.

Haye's a very good fighter, but he is a cherry-picker and he does seem to be massively overrated based on what he has actually done at heavyweight.

If Haye stops Fury, it will be his best win at heavyweight.

Fighting the likes of Vinny Maddalone and Martin Rogan hardly makes Fury a world beater though.

I think Haye has been an underachiever at heavyweight but I don't give Fury much of a chance vs Him.

Fury's best wins at heavyweight - McDermott (TKO9), Chisora (UD 12), Firtha (TKO 5), Pajkic (TKO 3), Johnson (UD 12) & Cunningham (TKO 7)

Do you think Haye's heavyweight record is significantly better than Fury's?

It`ll be an amusing pre-fight build up :TU:

The obvious call would be an easy KO victory for Haye. But lets not expect Fury to be so reckless against haye. Fury will be fully expecting Hayes power, and will keep him on the end of the jab as Wlad did .. or he should do anyways ..

McDermott, Firtha and Pajkic are woeful opponents when discussing how great someones heavyweight record is.

Bonin, Barrett and Harrison are great names for Haye to have on his record then are they?

Haye's record at heavyweight is nothing special and he doesn't deserve the hype he gets.

Their records don't matter. Haye will be too quick and powerful for Fury.

If Haye dropped Fury with the punch Cunningham did he wouldn't have got up.

I'm stunned by some of the talk here.

David Haye is a former Undisputed Cruiserwwight champion and a belt holder at heavyweight. He's knocked out a guy in 5 who went 12 with Vitali and whilst out of shape almost KO'd Fury.

He's beaten significantly better fighters than Fury.

Fury has been decked off light punching heavyweights.

Yet people think this is a 50/50 fight!!??

Haye chins Fury early doors IMO

Fury would be favourite to beat those versions of Mormeck and Maccarinelli as well.

Chisora did not almost knock Fury out.

Do all of the people who think Haye is going to beat Fury easily hallucinate during Fury fights and just make things up?

Haye fought both men at Crusierweight, how could Fury have beaten those versions?

Like he swerved fighting the best heavyweight in the world away from home?

Haye could have defended the WBA title ten times, but fought Wlad instead. Yeah, that was cherry picking.
