FURY VS HAYE

Post by Pug1 »

Ok, not official as yet, but it's what everyone thinks will happen.

Who wins? Personally I think it is whoever lands first and in a long fight I favour Fury.
But Haye can get a sneaky shot in to end it.

Heart says Fury, Head says Haye.

Fury is still a wee bit too raw for me at the top level. Maybe in a year or 2 but in saying that he has kept active, is unbeaten and is improving.

Haye is very quick and has explosive power, a great finisher of fights.

Fury I think just makes too many mistakes right now, he's only young mind but I would think Haye would get through eventually. Fury has a good workrate, but that could be his downfall as it will give Haye more opportunity to counter punch.

But I really really hope Fury beats him!

Fury will do far better in this fight than some haters wanna believe.
Lets just remember Hayes performances against the real big giant men are not exactly stellar ;;-)

I hope so, I would love to say Fury knock Haye out with a stunning elbow-forearm hook smash a la Cunningham and then we hear a stunning rendition of "Lady in Red" after the fight!

Fury recovers pretty well from ko'd & shows plenty of grit & workrate throughout his fights.
Question is can he recover from a haye attack?

IF Fury can get past the halfway point he could rip up the script which at the moment has been handed in and is awaiting production *spoiler it ends with Tyson flat out on his back. :KO:

I dont rate fury but that doesn't mean i hate the guy... haye is not good when facing big guys? what about valuev? HE followed booths plan to the t....an ugly fight but he did what needed to done.. . Can you really compare vlad with fury?... they are classes apart...so imho it's a win for haye..

Fury can beat Haye, if this is in the Autumn then he can get in tremendous shape and get a good game plan then he can do it. Haye is very beatable, he is a good finisher but his stamina is shite and his overall ability way overrated.

I am still not sure this fight happens but if it did in the next year or so, Haye by stoppage.

tried to be objective but 12's a big number when it comes to boxing rounds.
People say Haye's stamina issues, what about Fury?? I plumped for Haye by KO. Haye's in his prime and it'll take 2, 3 or maybe even more years before Tyson stood a chance of winning, imo. By wgich time Haye won't be around boxing I suspect.

I have no interest whatsoever in/ or knowledge about, promoter "stuff" like people get involved with on here. Could somebody, maybe that knows them, just make an educated guess: DOES DAVID HAYE WANT THIS?/ DOES TYSON FURY WANT THIS?

I can't believe anybody is picking Fury with a straight face, absolutely ludicrous but then again plenty of people on here were picking Chisora too. Haye by KO within six.

I think David Haye knocks Tyson Fury out in this one if it ever does happen. Because Fury has been dropped by Naven Pajikic who was 16-0 with 5 knockouts on the slate and dropped by Steve Cunningham who has only 10 knockouts in 24 down at Cruiserweight. Haye has 24 knockouts in 26 and has taken his power up to heavyweight with him with his batterings of John Ruiz in 9 rounds (and I must admit I was surprised that Haye actually stopped him in all honesty) and Dereck Chisora. For me Haye is too quick with his feet in comparison to Fury and just hits much harder and more accurately for me.

I see a fight where Fury fights smart and uses the long jab and ring generalship to keep Haye continuously resetting himself to throw punches. It will be close, with moments of tension, with Fury coming out on top as a winner of a unaminous decision. He will not be reckless as he was against Cunningham. Haye isn't fighting an immobile giant like Valuev, and he will get caught with blows, especially late in the fight. I wouldnt be surprised if both of these men were dropped. Fury early, and Haye late. Jesus bless.

I think fury will make this a dirty fight, alot elbows, using the head, rabbit punches, leaning on haye, keeping a fast pace always on top of him and gradually breaking him down......I predict a fury stoppage rounds 8-12 on an exausted Haye.

Tough one for Tyson. Think the Kubrat option might have been the better option to take. Rooting for Tyson, but my money will be on David. Should be a fun fight no matter what so looking forward to this one.
