I don't think you can criticise his stamina too much. Valuev was wearing most of his opponents down in the late rounds. Haye stood strong. Likewise against Frag.Pug1 wrote:Fury can beat Haye, if this is in the Autumn then he can get in tremendous shape and get a good game plan then he can do it. Haye is very beatable, he is a good finisher but his stamina is shite and his overall ability way overrated.

I can't believe this is a serious question. Fury has been put on the canvas by people who don't punch anywhere near as hard as Haye.
Haye by KO before the fight hits the half way mark.
Haye by KO before the fight hits the half way mark.
Re: FURY VS HAYE
I would really like to see Fury win.
All the stupid talk of Haye being the saviour of the heavyweight division came to nothing. But Fury really would be the saviour.
Fury is a loon .. he'd get the viewers back.
Sadly Haye will only need 1 punch to win the fight. I can't see Fury avoiding them for 12rnds.

This fight could make an absolute fortune. Win/win for Fury.
Fury will make more in this fight than against Wlad. Time to cash in on him.

Re: FURY VS HAYE
I can see a version of this happening in theory, as I have tried to explain in another thread. The problem is that Fury will be just as reckless as he was against Cunningham, he can't help himself.HomicideHenry wrote:I see a fight where Fury fights smart and uses the long jab and ring generalship to keep Haye continuously resetting himself to throw punches. It will be close, with moments of tension, with Fury coming out on top as a winner of a unaminous decision. He will not be reckless as he was against Cunningham. Haye isn't fighting an immobile giant like Valuev, and he will get caught with blows, especially late in the fight. I wouldnt be surprised if both of these men were dropped. Fury early, and Haye late. Jesus bless.

Exactly this. All those talking about the Tyson Fury who fights a smart fight and the Tyson Fury who gets in tremendous shape... that Tyson Fury doesn't exist!DMA1987 wrote:I can see a version of this happening in theory, as I have tried to explain in another thread. His machismo will mean it's inevitable he'll start to trade at some point and when he does it's game over...

Are people talking about a Tyson Fury who fights smart?
Saying the version of Tyson Fury who fights smart will turn up is like saying Father Christmas is going to turn up and fight Haye.
Re: FURY VS HAYE
Is Haye vs Fury really a Pay-Per-View level fight? It'll be entertaining whilst it lasts, but we all know who is going to win. It's hardly Froch vs Kessler standard.
Maybe they are hoping, like Haye/Chisora there'll be a bunch of knobs out there who'll believe Haye's opponent has a chance of winning, so will buy it.
If any of the pubs are showing it local, I might watch it in there in protest. I'll spend more than £15 in beer, but at least I won't have given Sky the money they don't deserve for this fight.

Haye overhand right ends this fight early.
Pajkic and Cunningham got to Fury easily with this, why cant Haye?

I think Haye would knock out Fury with the first 2 rounds. I don't think Fury would be able to cope at all with Haye. Haye would come out pretty quick and unleash quick shots all over Fury. It could easily end in the first. It all depends if Fury could get hit on the chin and keep upright and im not sure he can. I don't think Fury has a solid chin and really Haye is a few leagues better than Fury. I think it will be a good fight though and if Fury can hit Haye early on it could well be a different fight altogether.

Re: FURY VS HAYE
Agree 100%. Fury does not have anywhere near Chisora's chin and he was sparked in 5 rounds. If Fury makes it past 3 I'd be amazed. My money would be on Haye KO2, but there is a genuine possibility of Haye KO1.mimmy123 wrote:I think Haye would knock out Fury with the first 2 rounds. Also, the thing people are overlooking is that whilst Haye doesn't have an iron chin, does Fury have the power to make a dent in Haye? I'm not sure he does.
I give him literally no chance. Not a prayer.

Fury's a born again Christian. A prayer is exactly what he would have. A lot of prayers.
Re: FURY VS HAYE
I know boxing is never as simple as this but.....
If Haye can go the distance with Klit then i cant see Fury stopping or dropping him.
I also cant see Fury having the skills to keep him at distance for a points victory and when they are inside trading shots Haye will get him out of there.

Re: FURY VS HAYE
I really don`t see it being over within the first 3rnds as some are saying - whilst it is well within Hayes ability. He just doesn`t fight at heavyweight that way.
Lets not forget the first couple of rounds against Audley .. lots forget that haye was as bad as Old-Audley.
Fury should be able to keep to the plan for atleast 4-5rnds. Haye will just pot shot and be looking for Fury to make a mistake.
I see Haye finally taking a chance or two, or Fury getting more open, in the 2nd half of the fight ... then Haye gets the KO.
Wouldn`t be surprised if Fury is well up on points at that stage too.
As said. Its a win-win for Fury. He gets a bigger slice of the pie against Haye. And it`ll be a bigger pie than a Klitschko fight too.
I just not looking forward to hayes pre-fight BS .. how he`ll go straight after Fury at the 1st bell .... he certainly will not ... he never does at heavyweight.

Tyson will lose to both Klitschko and Haye IMO. However I think he could possibly stand up to 12 rounds with Wlad or Vitali but I can only see a early KO loss if he fights Haye. Losing against Klit for a world title is not so bad than getting sparked out by Haye for no title at all.
Yes it will earn him big bucks but I reckon long term his career will not be the same again.
Re: FURY VS HAYE
Fury won't be getting up like he normally does when floored by bums. He's going night night.
Re: FURY VS HAYE
Haye by stoppage around the 5th or 6th after a cautious opening.
I don't think Fury has the power to get Haye's respect and I certainly don't think he has the chin to take one of Haye's bombs.

Who cares if there's a title on the line? Fury gets paid a lot more against Haye than against a Klitschko.TopGun wrote:Tyson will lose to both Klitschko and Haye IMO. Haye is possibly more overhyped than Broner. Fury has a very good chance of winning and landing another huge paycheck against a Klitschko.

Fury does not have a hope of winning. I was thinking whilst I was in the bath last night about whether I have the bottle to put some serious wedge on a Haye to win by KO as I think this is almost a dead cert. Haye's speed and power is way too much for Fury. Adam Booth and David Haye must think they have got a licence to print money with all these punks calling him out when they don't stand a chance. If Fury fights like he did in his last fight, Haye will eat him up in 2 rounds. Tyson's gypsy ancestors will feel his thud when he falls.

His record at heavyweight is nothing special. Fury's record is almost as good as Haye's and he turned pro after Haye's fight with Barrett.
Haye has only beaten one top 10 heavyweight clearly (Chisora) and not everyone rated him as a top 10 heavyweight either.
Re: FURY VS HAYE
i think Haye will win but it isn't as one sided as some seem to think As someone said Fury may well be on top points wise but sooner or later haye will catch him and Fury will be stopped. Fury has nothing to lose from this fight apart from his pride he will make a lot of money and go on to be a world champion a couple of years later. A loss isn't a big deal to a young heavyweight like Fury arfter all most who hold titles have them.
