Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
Great fight for Khan.....very winanable you can see it now, hes going to say brook ducked this guy and he stepped up. Personally I think after him being ringside and watching Matthysse and realizing he would have to fight him or garcia again he decided to get the hell out of town and move to 147 as if he couldent handle garcia power he probs couldent in a rematch and he certainly couldnt handle Matthysse after seeing what he did to peterson. Dont get me wrong, alexander is a very good fighter and its a pretty even match but khan has more chance of beating him than the winner of Matthysse v garcia.
As for Brook, its hard to feel sorry for him especially when I hearn said they decided not to fight bradely and wait for alexander. Always thought that was a strange move. His only option would be to fight in nov/dec against broner (providing he beats paulie). That is a fight that IMO is way tougher than both the bradely and devon fights. I wouldent give brook a hope against broner, but where else would he go? As the winner of devon v khan gets mayweather

Lets see if Kell can get past Carson again first (assuming that fight is still on). Kell vs the winner of Amir vs Devon seems like an option if that person doesn't get a fight with Floyd next anyway as it seems like that would be the go to move for the winner.

Well Jones is training like a demon so think its fair to say game on.

Think this could work out well for Kellrio wrote:Great fight for Khan.....very winanable you can see it now, hes going to say brook ducked this guy and he stepped up. He is still the mandatory which has to be fought before end of Feb 2014
December Khan vs Alexander winner has to face Kell or vacate which I think they would do for the Mayweather fight leaving him to fight No2/No3 IBF ranked for the vacant title which isn't a good thing but I think would lead to bigger fights - Ortiz, Berto, Bradley etc
Re: Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
None of these fighters care about Kell Brook and will only fight him if there's nothing else on the horizon.
Re: Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
So they will vacate to avoid him then?Trojans44 wrote:None of these fighters care about Kell Brook and will only fight him if there's nothing else on the horizon.

Glad to hear it, christ knows i don't want to see the version who fought Byrne. Won't help Brook or Jones if that happened.Parson Cross wrote:Well Jones is training like a demon so think its fair to say game on.

Brook doesn't feature in anyone's plans and I guess they would vacate if he became mandatory if there was a Mayweather fight in the offing.DMA1987 wrote:So they will vacate to avoid him then?Trojans44 wrote:None of these fighters care about Kell Brook and will only fight him if there's nothing else on the horizon.
Re: Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
So then he would be IBF world champion at 27* with plenty of time to get the big fights. They will soon come back to him. I'd say he still has his path.mickey1975 wrote:Brook doesn't feature in anyone's plans and I guess they would vacate if he became mandatory if there was a Mayweather fight in the offing.DMA1987 wrote:So they will vacate to avoid him then?Trojans44 wrote:None of these fighters care about Kell Brook and will only fight him if there's nothing else on the horizon.
*Assuming he wins the fight for the vacant.

cant see anything but a win for kell and if he does get IBF title then the big matches will come and the recognition.

Can they get Lee Purdy into the No 2 spot by February?
Re: Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
Khan cant take shots at 140lb.
Alexander will time him counter and hopefully put pay to the pricks career.
If Amir Khan ever gets a shot at Mayweather I will honestly have to think about whether the sport is worth following anymore.

Why Purdy is being mentioned i dont know.
Brook has a mountain to climb Khan has fallen off his mountain and is now taking the golden boy ski lift to the top and its bollocks. How he gets a shot at the title in his first fight at 147 having just scraped past Diaz a blown up light weight and if he wins gets a shot at the p4p no1.What a croc of shit rematch Garcia like he said he was he is a joke

If he beats Alexander, what's the problem. Brook had two chances to fight Alexander and one to fight Bradley and didn't turn up.
It seems you just hate Khan so whoever he beats, it doesn't matter, he will always be unworthy in your eyes.
He's hardly had a free ride back to the top. He lost a world title fight, had two comeback fights and then is challenging for a world title. Diaz was at least a former world champion. The only former world champion Brook has fought it Lovemore Ndou.

Just read in a Johnny Nelson column that Amir rarely trains between fights. I thought he was smarter than that. No wonder he isn't improving!
Re: Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
Where's Dubi?
Is it in Dubishire?
Is it in Dubishire?
Re: Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
brook will get to fight khan when he gets beat by alexnader
it will be the last fight for khan as if he loses two he will have to retire

Alexander didn't have great power at Light-Welter. I think he's a little stronger at welter BUT you can say 'when a punch lands' for every Khan fight from now til the end of time. I think he wins as long as he's not KO'dTJ77 wrote:Khan cant take shots at 140lb.

Jones then Senchenko. However, I can see him fighting Diaz so he can do a job on him and build the khan fight even more.

Re: Khan v Alexander in Dubi....what now for Brook??
It pains me but I think you may be right I honestly believe Kell would wallop Alexander I think for all Khans bullshit about Kell ducking Alexander .Even he believed Kell would win the title from Alexander .If he wins there is not a prayer he will fight Kell and he is wise to swerve him cos his chin will get put round his back.danconnollyeire wrote:Alexander didn't have great power at Light-Welter. Please don't be such a fool....firstly Brook was injured twice so his chances were scuppered to fight for the title at mass loss to him financially and career wise a massive set back. Hardly not turning up is it .Secondly Brook was supposedly offered Bradley 1.do you know the terms of the offer? ...thought not 2. If you are on course to a world title who would you rather fight....thought so .Bradley is a unification fight for later on not when your on your assent .Khan was ko'd by mediocre opponents twice but has been so heavily invested in they need to find a way to make it work he has fought two blown up lightweights which delivers him back to a title fight in a division his not ever fought in.
That is a free ride how you can think other wise is beyond me
Yes I hate Khan I feel with good reason and correct he will be always be unworthy in my eyes.
We can agree to disagree but lets try and be honest
