The lightflyweight final will be between the two favourites David Ayrapetan and Paddy Barnes who both posted dominant wins in their semis.
Ayrapetan won 90-79 (3-0) including a couple of 10-8 rounds against young Englishman Jack Bateson.Barnes was no less impressive with a 90-81 (3-0) victory over Salman Alizada

John Joe Nevin is the second Irishman in the finals where he will meet Ukrainian Mykola Butsenko.
Nevin won 87-84 (3-0) but lost the Third round on all three cards to Russian Vladimir Nikitin.

Russian Armen Zakaryan will meet surprise packet Moldovan Dmitri Galagot in the light welter final.The Russian had an easy passage against Frenchman Ladjali winning by a score of 90-79 (3-0) whilst Galagot had a tough match against German Harutunyan winning 86-85 (2-1)
Heavyweights Teymur Mammadov and Alexey Egorov are in the final. Mammadov defeated Ukrainian Denis Poyatsika 87-81 (3-0) with Egorov taking the decision over German Ahmatovic 89-82 (3-0)

Pavlo Ishcenko and Vazgen Safaryants are in the lightweight final,Belarussian Safaryants edged past Hungarian Miklos Varga 87-84 (3-0) whilst Ukrainian Ishcenko won by the narrowest of margins 85-86 (2-1) over Russian Polyanski.
Russian Alexander Besputin won comfortably over Bogdan Shelestyuk 90-81 (3-0) to book his place in the Welterweight final.Ukrainian Shelestyuk was seeded probably because the EUBC confused him with Taras Shelestyuk.Besputin will meet German Arayk Maruttyan who beat Pavel Kastramin 86-85 (2-1)

David Ayrapetan won the first gold by virtue of a walkover.Barnes has a fractured nose and was withdrawn by the Irish Management.Disappointing for the talented Irishman.

John Joe Nevin has just won the Bantamweight final with a clear victory over Ukrainian Butsenko 88-83 (3-0).
Nevin hasnt had the best of luck in this Competition with some dodgy decisions going against him so he must be delighted with this and no-one deserves it more.
