The lightflyweight final will be between the two favourites David Ayrapetan and Paddy Barnes who both posted dominant wins in their semis.
Ayrapetan won 90-79 (3-0) including a couple of 10-8 rounds against young Englishman Jack Bateson.Barnes was no less impressive with a 90-81 (3-0) victory over Salman Alizada

John Joe Nevin is the second Irishman in the finals where he will meet Ukrainian Mykola Butsenko.
Nevin won 87-84 (3-0) but lost the Third round on all three cards to Russian Vladimir Nikitin.
Butsenko squeezed through beating Armenian Aram Avagyan 85-85 (2-1)

Russian Armen Zakaryan will meet surprise packet Moldovan Dmitri Galagot in the light welter final.The Russian had an easy passage against Frenchman Ladjali winning by a score of 90-79 (3-0) whilst Galagot had a tough match against German Harutunyan winning 86-85 (2-1)
Heavyweights Teymur Mammadov and Alexey Egorov are in the final. Mammadov defeated Ukrainian Denis Poyatsika 87-81 (3-0) with Egorov taking the decision over German Ahmatovic 89-82 (3-0)

Jason Quigley upset World Champion Evgeni Khytrov to reach the Middleweight final.The Irishman winning convincingly 89-82 (3-0) He will meet Romanian Bogdan Juratoni who stopped Hungarian Zoltan Harcsa

Old rivals Andrew Selby and Michael Conlan will contest the flyweight final.Defending Champion Selby beat Azeri Elvin Mamishadze 87-84 (2-1) whilst Conlan beat Russian Ovik Ogannisyan on another split decision 88-83 (2-1)
Conlan is the fourth Irish finalist.

Pavlo Ishcenko and Vazgen Safaryants are in the lightweight final,Belarussian Safaryants edged past Hungarian Miklos Varga 87-84 (3-0) whilst Ukrainian Ishcenko won by the narrowest of margins 85-86 (2-1) over Russian Polyanski.
Russian Alexander Besputin won comfortably over Bogdan Shelestyuk 90-81 (3-0) to book his place in the Welterweight final.Ukrainian Shelestyuk was seeded probably because the EUBC confused him with Taras Shelestyuk.Besputin will meet German Arayk Maruttyan who beat Pavel Kastramin 86-85 (2-1)
Dutchman Peter Mullenberg won his lightheavy semi 3-0 over Moldovian Petru Ciobanu and will meet Russian Nikita Ivanov in the final.Ivanov progressed virtue of a walkover over Belarussian Sergey Novitkov who suffered an injury.
At Super heavy Azeri Medshidov also progressed courtesy of a walkover win over Victor Zuyev
and will meet Russian Sergey Kuzmin who stopped Englishman Joe Joyce.

David Ayrapetan won the first gold by virtue of a walkover.Barnes has a fractured nose and was withdrawn by the Irish Management.Disappointing for the talented Irishman.
Andrew Selby became the first British boxer to defend and retain the title when he edged past Michael Conlan 87-84 (2-1)

John Joe Nevin has just won the Bantamweight final with a clear victory over Ukrainian Butsenko 88-83 (3-0).
Nevin hasnt had the best of luck in this Competition with some dodgy decisions going against him so he must be delighted with this and no-one deserves it more.

Ukrainian Pavlo Ishcenko has won lightweight gold in a closer match than the 3-0 scoreline suggests.His points score total was 86 against Vazgen Safaryants 84.

Jason Quigley has earned Ireland its second gold with victory in the Middleweight final although it could have been four golds but for injuries.
Quigley won 87-84 (2-1) over tough Romanian Bogdan Juratoni.

Russia has won two golds and a silver in the last three finals.
Nikita Ivanov was too strong for Dutchman Peter Mullenberg winning with a score of 89-82 (3-0).Alexey Egorov stopped Azeri Teymur Mammadov in the second but at super-heavy they gained revenge with Magomed Medshidov beating Sergey Kuzmin 87-84 (3-0)
Great display from the Russians with a new look team-Aloyan,Mekhontsev,Zamkovoy and Beterbiyev amongst those missing.
