Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
Two of the hardest punchers of the middleweight division go at it. Both were chosen by the Ring Magazine as pound per pound 100 greatest punchers. Who wins?
Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
Graziano touched the floor with some of those bombs when winding up. the Hawk would win in dramatic fashion quickly.
Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
Jackson has more skill and has power in both hands. I think more often than not that would win the day for him.
Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
I'll take Jackson also.
Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
It's 50-50 for me.

Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
Maybe "slight edge" to Jackson but I agree this is close to an even fight. Graziano gets a lot of flack for being crude but he was very fast and athletic despite his crudeness (and did have some skills himself) and beat many a more skilled fighter (and guys more skilled than Jackson) via his pressure and power.Ezzard wrote:It's 50-50 for me.
Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
BoxBuzz, The Sim produced a KO1 for Graziano huh? I could see that happening...he definitely came out of the gate firing hard.
I would still favor Jackson to win personally though.

Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
apparently Rocky was a bit nervous as well...as he came in "overtrained". lol.
Re: Middleweights: Rocky Graziano vs Julian Jackson
Frankly I'm surprised that the overwhelming majority has went for Jackson. I would go for Graziano.
