It will be Sky Box Office. Channel five will have no say in the matter. Anyone who thinks different is very wrong.

Always good to see members of the boxrec forum trying to act like they are actually at the negotiating table.
'Yeah give them a %age of the PPV then.'
Like it's that simple.

And you're so above it all and behave how one should on a boxing forum.jameswilson wrote:Always good to see members of the boxrec forum trying to act like they are actually at the negotiating table.

Re: FURY VS HAYE
How many fights does fury have left with Mick, anyone know?
I doubt C5 have a long standing agreement Considering they dipped out of boxing a couple of months ago before confirming they were showing fury cunningham. Surely a fight by fight agreement with MH?
Money talks regardless.

Re: FURY VS HAYE
While Tyson Fury has got the physical advantages in terms of height and reach over David Haye and can go 12 rounds if he has to which he showed against Dereck Chisora and Kevin Johnson and can also switch hit. He does possess a very very suspect chin that has seen get dropped firstly by Naven Pajikic and then by Steve Cunningham, who were not big punchers and showeed terrific resolve in getting and stopping both Pajikic and Cunningham.
It does make me feel what will happen if someone who packs a decent whack in their punches (say David Haye) loops the right hand or delivers a right hook flush over FUry's low left hand lead and onto his chin. And I think Haye has got the speed and power to drop and seriously hurt FUry more than what Pajikic and Cunningham did. And I think Haye actually stop him after dropping Fury once maybe twice in this one.

By saying 'yeah just give them a %age of the PPV then' you're trying to make out like you're privy to the info that both promotional teams have. They are gonna be the ones deciding whether the fight happens and they are the ones who know what they want and don't want. Discussing it as tho you're sat at the negotiating table is the most ridiculous thing I'v seen.Horse wrote:And you're so above it all and behave how one should on a boxing forum.jameswilson wrote:Always good to see members of the boxrec forum trying to act like they are actually at the negotiating table.

Lets discuss boxing not sit around pretending to be Mick Hennessy and Eddie Hearn.

Ask the chaps who were discussing the terms of the Haye v Fury contract earlier in the thread. Maybe they can photocopy the contract and post a photo of it here in the thread.Wales wrote:How many fights does fury have left with Mick, anyone know?

We're speculating, there's no need to slag us off for that.jameswilson wrote:By saying 'yeah just give them a %age of the PPV then' you're trying to make out like you're privy to the info that both promotional teams have. 100%, no way this fight is on Channel 5.
I've never been so sure of anything in my life.

Haye tweeted "I read that Fury thinks a fight with me and himself is "99% Done" HAHA At best i'd say there's Light Discussions, that are moving slowly."
Don't sound good for this fight.

What's funny about discussions for a meaningful fight not going very well?followthecamel wrote:Haye tweeted "I read that Fury thinks a fight with me and himself is "99% Done" HAHA At best i'd say there's Light Discussions, that are moving slowly."

Haye would probably prefer to fight opponents like Charr and make easy money.

Re: FURY VS HAYE
Haye and Booth always play down negotiations right down to the minute the contract is signed. I believe Haye would have fought Charr if the tickets would have sold like they did for Ruiz and Harrison at the same venue and if Sky would have wanted it on Box Office.

Would like to think there would be some courtesy shown to those who ordered Haye v Charr tickets when it comes to the Fury tickets, but I can't see any way that it can work.
Fury v Haye is guaranteed to sell faster than Froch v Kessler.

Re: FURY VS HAYE
i just cant see fury standing a chance, if cunningham can get to fury haye certainly can and haye is good on the ropes as we saw how he took out chisora. Haye also managed to get to wlad in the 12th and had him hurt if wlad cant land one haye hows fury going to? Thats my blueprint.rio wrote:I think fury will make this a dirty fight, alot elbows, using the head, rabbit punches, leaning on haye, keeping a fast pace always on top of him and gradually breaking him down......I predict a fury stoppage rounds 8-12 on an exausted Haye.
Re: FURY VS HAYE
I don't buy Boxing News but have heard that they put that on their front cover. That was only done to boost sales and carries little weight, in my opinion.
Have we had any 'Official' confirmation about this? Or is it all conjecture?

Re: FURY VS HAYE
He has to catch him first. Fury coming forward aggressively is exactly what Haye will hope for him to do. At heavyweight the only person who has managed to really lean on Haye was Wlad. Ruiz had a go but it didn't work. Chisora did but Haye moved him across the ring, I guess to surprise Chisora by being the stronger man. Plus, Haye can be pretty dirty himself. Look at the Ruiz fight. Haye loves to rabbit punch. Finn's right anyway. Unless Haye has faded with inactivity, how is Fury going to land something good on him when Wladamir struggled so much? By opening up more and being more aggressive? He's going to get hit an he's going to fall over. I wouldn't be surprised if Haye takes a knock down though: it happens.Finn wrote:i just cant see fury standing a chance, if cunningham can get to fury haye certainly can and haye is good on the ropes as we saw how he took out chisora. People were saying this was a done deal. Any news from those in the know?
