Exiled Brit Afolabi targets champion homecoming

worth a read.....seems Afolabi has cleaned up his diet and will be fit in this fight. I think given the closeness of his first 2 fights with Huck (2009)....it could make the difference. Not sure I like Huck having home advantage 3 fights in a row.....

I was at his fight with Enzo in Manchester.....his only fight in the UK to date.

If the last fight was Ola not in shape, then he is not human. Also, in what world is Huck "a clever boxer". He's many things, tough as nails and without an ounce of quit amongst them, but a clever boxer he is not, he's a face first, haymaker every time clubbing machine!

Ola needs to keep up a high tempo, Huck looked tired and battle worn at times against Arslan.

Me. I think a first defence in the UK if he wins tomorrow is a must. He loves that he is British and I know that he'd love to fight in London. Would be great to see him as chief support on a Matchroom promotion.

This time Huck started faster while Afolabi closed stronger.

I had Huck winning 116-112 and cannot see it closer than 114-114; Huck was too good over the first 8 rounds.

Huck looked pretty smart to me. Turned up the intensity whenever he needed to and threw some sharp counters. Ola seemed too intent to push the action and got clumsy doing so. Decent enough scrap though.

I think he could be a huge draw in britian even though he lost he has certainly earned a good reputation In 3 close fights with huck. Lets see them get it on and bring him here and attempt at a different title at world level he could and should be better and have more chance at getting fighters over here.

How would he be a huge draw in Britain? He could not sell out a leisure centre in Britain.
