Lot's of talk about Groves, how come DeGale is never mentioned as a prospective opponent?

His fluid switching hitting style could potentially cause Froch more difficulty than George's more conventional technique.

Stevenson after he knocks out Dawson. Better than being hugged to death by Hopkins.

Groves gets mentioned because it's an easy one to make, promotion team etc

Neither are worthy, DeGale especially

DeGales opposition as a whole has been better since his wafer thin, controversial (in my eyes) loss to Groves.

Nope, not especially.

I don't particularly want to see him fighting Mack types considering he probably only has a fight or two left.

Groves and DeGale are going to miss the Froch train by a year or so. It's similar to Calzaghe-Froch.

I think they need a belt at least to get Carl interested

I'm interested to see which way HS and MP manoeuvre the two towards a title. Groves was in line for Steiglitz under Wazza.

You are kidding, right? The decision was very close but correct, dirrell ran all night and the fight stank.

Dirrell has done little of note since to warrant a top five fight, let alone a free swing at the unified title. No-one would pay money to see it and i bet froch isnt even remotley considering it.

Does the fact calzaghe never re-matched anyone, esp say Reid or Hopkins, undermine his whole career and legacy?!!!!

Either a third fight with Kessler or a second fight with Ward.

Failing that, I wouldn't have him fight DeGale or Groves they haven't achieved enough to deserve a shot at a double World Champion just yet.

Moving weight, the only fight I think he'd be interested is a Bernard Hopkins fight. Cleverley hasn't done enough either, I don't think.

Id love to see Froch against Stevenson. Back at super-middle I mean. I think it would be a great fight! Hearn wouldnt have the balls to put Froch in with Stevenson though I dont think as its too much of a threat to his cash cow. Froch himself would take it im sure. The third fight with Kessler doesnt interest in the slightest to be honest! Its all got a bit predictable to be honest. Neither one has shown the ability to knock the other down down, and Kessler looks on the decline to be honest. The hopkins fight isnt a good idea I dont think as he might end up making Carl look silly. Not quite on the scale of what he did to Pavlik but still outboxing him.

Remember Roy Jones talking about making 168 for the fight with Calzaghe then having a drink and getting back on the scales, so that it could be for Calzaghe's championships at both 168 and 175? It'll never happen but wouldn't it be cool if they could do this, so that if Carl wins (not a given, seeing as Stevenson is definitely going to tag him and appears to hit like a truck) then he get's his mandatory out of the way AND he's champ at 175.

Fantasy, obviously.
