Well Nav Mansouri had no bother with him and take a look at the stats to show the difference height and reach. Stop blowing smoke up Mr Average Eubank's arse.

Mansouri and Booth went the distance, have you even seen that fight? Because from what i heard Booth had hurt Mansouri a couple of times, it was a dust up and talk of a rematch. I think you just have some issue with Eubank Jr, in fact you seem to have missed that Booth has fought almost all his fights at middle and a couple at super middle. Nothing worst than a patronising guy who pretends to know what he is talking about but is just making shit up.

Recent statements by you -

Eubank hasnt managed to make middle weight for any of his fights and weighs in as a SMW - Bullshit!
Booth didnt have a physical advantage - Clearly he did.
Booth is a career light middle - 17 of his 23 fights have been middle weight or above, he fought for the MW EBU title.
Mansouri had no bother - I heard it was competative, maybe Coldwell could let us know (or someone who actually watched the fight).

Im starting to think you are a troll.

Eubank has never weighed below 11st 8 1/4 lbs, but never above 11st 10lbs, i'm sure he can make Middleweight, but he hasn't done so yet.

eubank is just a gravy train. nothing special about him at all. he ll fight 25 journeymen and land some dubious title shot. when he moves up in class he will be exposed and all the little finns out there will feel cheap, used and abused.

Finn - you're getting confused again. It was me who pointed out that Eubank hasn't made middleweight which you claimed was bullshit. Please point out any pro fight which he has weighed within a couple of pounds of the middleweight limit. If he is over this weight what weight category is he in?

Booth put on a stone in 3 weeks to gain his "massive physical advantage". If he puts on another 4 stone for his next fight would he have a massive physical advantage over a peak Mike Tyson?

Have to disagree there mate, was a very close fight indeed, some of those at ringside (ex pros) even had Booth winning comfortably.

But do agree that Eubank needs to improve seriously if he's gonna make a mark.

Eubank's only real problem is a lack of power something Hennessy fighters seem to specialise in, only Hughie Fury looks a big hitter amongst his current crop.

For those criticising Eubank Jnr try to have a bit more perspective, regardless of what is coming from his mouth. He had a very limited amateur career (ten fights) and is only 23 years old. He beat Bradley Pryce in only his 8th fight which is impressive and prior to his last bout (for which he had only 10 days notice) he had been out of the ring for 7 months.

Given all of that I'm not prepared to write him off as purely a hype job just yet.

All absolutely true but he's got no power and that is a major shortcoming at top level where Eubank sees himself.

The fact that his name is Chris Eubank Jr always meant he was going to get judged somewhat harshly.

I think his first ten opponents haven't been too bad considering they are just that, his first ten opponents. I think his one big problem is there for all to see though, he doesn't really have too much power. That makes me wonder if he'll make it at the very top.

Because of who he is though, he'll get opportunites to train and improve himself that other 10-0 fighter probably wouldn't.

I quite like the guy, and I think he deals with the attention of being his father's son pretty well. Channel 5 have pretty much stopped pretending they care what he has to say after a fight these days, and go straight to his dad. He seems to take that in his stride.

I'd like to see him go after the British title to see what he can do, even if I'm not making wild predictions that he'll suceed at world level in an already talent-rich division.

Finn,
I suggest you review what you are allege are my statements because half of them were made by other posters !
I am no troll.
I don't make up shit.
I was ringside for Booth v Mansouri. It was a local derby but the score cards don't lie. Had it not been for Nav hurting his right hip early on I think he'd have stopped Tyan.
One thing's for sure the physical differences between Nav and Tyan were far more pronounced than Eubank jnr and Tyan.
All I'm saying is to use the excuse for a very average performance against Booth to be due to his "massive physical disadvantages" is utter crap.
Say it again - get him in with Etches and let's see what happens.

I've never criticised Eubank junior - I'm just in disbelief that someone thinks Booth had a massive physical advantage when 3 weeks previously he weighed a stone less!

All good points black panther. On the other hand, the British and Commonwealth champion at the weight that Eubank may perhaps make, is only 19 days older than him.

Finn,
Do you understand weight divisions ?
Middlweight is 160lbs or 11st 6lbs.
How many times has Eubank jnr weighed in at or below middleweight ?
Once.
And I'm talking bullshit

I totally agree with Colombo, I sometimes wonder where do the TV production team get these people from they haven't a clue about the fight game, giving out wrong information etc, why don't they use someone like Phil Sharkey not only does he take a great photo he knows the game & the fighters inside out. TV people learn a lesson.

in fairness tho, there are plenty of novice pros who come in at a few pounds over their eventual weights when they start to contest titles.

Well i may well be mistaken then but im under the impression novice pro's can weight in up to 165lb for middleweight as long as its not a title fight.

Looks like i physical advantage to me bearing in mind he weighed in more than Eubank Jr sounds like its an issue you have with the weight he was 3 weeks thats the problem i should imagine he boiled down for it to fight at LM since he had been fighting at MW or above previously.

well it is and it isnt his opponents are weighing in at the same weight as him if its classed as 160 for novice pros surely the fights are SMW and should not be being classed as middleweight contests. However I was on a rant at the time and it sounded like it was being implied that he is weighing in at SMW with his opponent coming in at MW so i just blasted out a few quick lines, it usually happens when someone tries to be smarmy.

Finn,
You started throwing out accusations - maybe you were being smarmy.
Don't accuse folks of posting stuff they didn't, don't call people trolls, and don't have a pop about a fight where you WEREN'T there and the poster was sat ringside.
Finally don't state inaccuracies then back track.
Eubank has weighed in at the Middleweight limit once in all his fights. Fact.
I don't give a shit about "he's only a novice". If he says he a middle, fight at middle and fight real middleweights like Etches.
Get it on. Etches wants it. I doubt Eubank does.
