Pg.4 Column: Boxer's Mom jumps in ring hits opponent, regarding the the bout 1989-09-21 Tony Wilson vs. Steve McCarthy which I believe should be included in the boxrec records as it pertains to the outcome of the match.The matched was stop in round three due to Tony Wilson's Mother, Minna Wilson, entering the ring attacking opponent Steve McCarthy with a stiletto causing a bleeding head wound. "When McCarthy refused to return referee Adrian Morgan raised Wilsons arms in victory,declaring McCarthy retired".
