Taylor. Corrales never accomplished anything of note above lightweight.

Re: Meldrick Taylor v Diego Coralles
Like Mayweather, Meldrick would have been too quick for the lanky, slowfooted Corrales.
It wouldn't have been as onesided as the Mayweather bout, but Taylor wins a comfortable decision.

You'll seldom see a fight more one-sided than Mayweather-Corrales.SenorPipino wrote:Like Mayweather, Meldrick would have been too quick for the lanky, slowfooted Corrales.

Holmes-Cobb, except for the absence of knockdowns.gilgamesh wrote:You'll seldom see a fight more one-sided than Mayweather-Corrales.SenorPipino wrote:Like Mayweather, Meldrick would have been too quick for the lanky, slowfooted Corrales.

Norris-Leonard, including the knockdowns.

Hey I didn't say you'd never see it, I just said you'd seldom see it. Especially among two championship level fighters.SenorPipino wrote:Holmes-Cobb, except for the absence of knockdowns.gilgamesh wrote:You'll seldom see a fight more one-sided than Mayweather-Corrales.SenorPipino wrote:Like Mayweather, Meldrick would have been too quick for the lanky, slowfooted Corrales.

Re: Meldrick Taylor v Diego Coralles
Taylor by early KO. Neither had the best chin. But if you can move you always gave Corrales trouble
Re: Meldrick Taylor v Diego Coralles
Early KO? I think you're confusing Meldrick with somebody else. I think Corrales was easy to drop because of poor balance, I don't think he necessarily had a weak chin, and even if he did he had the heart to get up and fight on from damn near anything. Taylor wouldn't hurt him bad enough to KO him early, I doubt very much he'd stop him at all.world ranked wrote:Taylor by early KO. Neither had the best chin. Yeah, Taylor didn't finish many people off early; seriously doubt he'd do it to Corrales.gilgamesh wrote:Early KO? I think you're confusing Meldrick with somebody else.
