Jr. Welterweights: Frankie Randall vs Meldrick Taylor
Two of the great Julio Cesar Chavez' greatest opponents go at it. One beat Chavez fair and square and the other one, if would have played it carefull, would have won the fight and not be stopped with 2 seconds left. Who wins?

I'd take Meldrick.

I'll go with the more seasoned Randall.
Outside of the wins over McGirt and Aaron Davis, I was never gaga over Taylor.
Was disappointed with him when he could only manage a draw against the sliding Howard Davis Jr. Excellent hand speed but had limited power and enjoyed slugging. Not a good idea when you're not a heavy puncher. Not a particularly adept defensive fighter, he let himself take too much punishment. Evidenced by his current condition.
Randall could nearly match him in speed and was a better all-round boxer, with far greater power. He should win a decisive decision.
