Adonis talks Froch, Bellew and Clev

Think it's safe to say Adonis is the hardest puncher at supermiddle, and probably at light heavy as well.
He looked the biggest puncher at SM before he'd even KO'd Dawson.

He can probably knock down anyone he catches clean, even the rock chinned Froch ( as we saw in the Taylor fight )
but Carl would still be a favorite to beat him....

He might have a chin problem, or maybe he was just caught rushing in by the prefect shot...the video is unclear. But he got back in with Boone and dominated him, which is a good sign.

I hope Bellew gets his chance - it would be a terrific fight, and if he really hasn't heard of Bellew, he might be in for a few surprises. They say you never lose your punch, and Tony was known as a massive hitter in the amateurs...

I totally agree with that part. Im just interested in the fight because Froch has that crazy chin and Stevenson hits like a mule! It would just be interesting to see if Stevenson could crack it!

You know I love you MW but I honestly don't think Stevenson or anyone would trouble Froch on a pure toe-to-toe basis. People mention the Taylor fight but it was an odd glancing shot that caught Froch high, it didn't even seem particularly hard, certainly you wouldn't have expected it to faze him, and then of course he got up totally fine. A flash knockdown at best.

Compare this to the 11th round vs Kessler, the shots Froch took were devastating, but he just shrugged them off and blazed back with his own.

Not to mention the fact that Carl has an underrated defence, he can deal with guys who don't have a lot of finesse and would surely be cautious enough against Stevenson not to be nailed with those telegraphed shots. I hope Froch/Stevenson happens anyway, I would be immensely confident Carl stops him and would hope the money piles in on Stevenson.

Bellew on the other hand, I don't get what anyone sees in this guy to give him a shot vs Stevenson, but having said this Bellew would probably be the second best guy Adonis has faced... which says a lot about the Canadian's level of opposition.

I would love Froch - Stephenson. It gives Froch a chance of progressing his career yet further (by winning a world title in a 2nd division) without having to face Ward - who, let's face it, he's very unlikely to beat in a rematch. And I'd be confident that Froch is able to use his range and experience to stop Stephenson landing any of his huge bombs before pouring on his own firepower.

beat Stevenson before someone else does, get the Canadian triple (Adonis, pascal, bute) & become a 2-weight world champ - in Nottingham - get HBO and sky box office payday - not bad for a night's work.

Well, in spurts Ward looked like he wanted to 'prove something' by getting physical, but it was hardly biting down on the gumshield and trading with Froch, rather just Ward's usual grabbing and ploughing tactic. Overall the performance was one of measured boxing from Ward. Froch wasn't troubled or more than buzzed at any point.
