Also great that it's on in August, I hate the way boxing biz closes down for it's 'summer holidays'

Why does it have a summer break? Is it a historical thing?

As for the fight, I am over the moon Cleverly is finally showing a bit of ambition, I really am. Ive nt been his biggest supporter but I'll be hoping he pulls it off.

Seem Kovalevs last 2 fights on youtube and he looks legit. Will be a class fight IMO. Clev gets way too much stick on here. Yes his oppostion has been poor ( though it seems Braehmer is in no rush to fight him ...again) but he has an exciting style and comes across as a likeable guy.

Time will tell I guess but I'm pretty excited about this fight. 2013 has had some storming fights so far I think this will only add to it.
the fight itself excites me but also the implications are even more exciting. it will open doors for cleverly, for more big fights in the UK and there will be a demand for more big fights, internationally and domestically (bellew again).

Bellew needs to prove that he's a legit top light heavy and win a belt.

bellew's going in the right direction, winning the world title elim (for Stevenson). like I say there'll be loads of great matchups if cleverly impresses on HBO, and loads of ppl will be chasing him.

I wouldn't mind a rematch after how close and intense the first fight was.

Well traditionally shows aren't put together because lots of people are on hols .. I used to cancel Sky at the end of the season before I got rid for good .

Clev would have to win first, I would have thought, but I think merely having picked a decent opponent will regain him a degree of respect from many. I've a feeling the HBO $s are far more interested in Kovalev though; the big KOs and American base make him an easy sell, and he seems ready to fight anyone. Sadly, I've a feeling that anything other than a spectucular KO win by Clev (which ain't gonna happen) won't do much for his career over the pond. If Nathan wants that he's gonna have to be willing to fight the big names in their own backyard.
