I doubt Fury would make it out of the first if he took what Grant took, I haven't watched it in a while but I still to this day don't know how he got up from that third knockdown.polecateddy wrote:I would suspect a repeat of Lewis/Grant.

Aye I love that bout, Lennox Lewis at his best, 6 minutes of hype-destroying carnage.SNG wrote:I doubt Fury would make it out of the first if he took what Grant took, I haven't watched it in a while but I still to this day don't know how he got up from that third knockdown.polecateddy wrote:I would suspect a repeat of Lewis/Grant.

Tyson Fury is such a clown.
He'll be calling out Rocky Marciano next.

Fury points... Knowing Lennox though, he would price himself out of it by asking for 25%!

I'm sure if you ask him he would have an opinion on it though - It would be something along the lines of, 'what that yankee italian midget, I' f*ck him up inside a round' as he's very eloquent like thatILikeBeer wrote:Tyson Fury is such a clown.

Maybe he should consider it. Rocky's financial demands wouldn't be too high, and he doesn't punch too hard any more.Roars Like Me wrote: I'm sure if you ask him he would have an opinion on it though - It would be something along the lines of, 'what that yankee italian midget, I' f*ck him up inside a round' as he's very eloquent like thatDD

The Rock was a tight fooker when it came to money so maybe there would be a stumbling block there too. I agree he doesn't punch as hard anymore though.
Re: Tyson Fury v Lennox Lewis
Yeah, but considering he has been dead for 44 years, I can't imagine he has much in the way of expenses.Roars Like Me wrote:

lewis could come out of retirement now and not train but still k.o this clown

How many times Tyson would be able to get up and box on is the questionSNG wrote:The bragging doesn't bother me, although he's way out there on this one.
Can you imagine what Lewis would do to Tyson Fury?

Agree, he still looks in great shape, watched Lewis and Joshua on ringside last night, they really looked like proper modern heavyweights !fasteddie wrote:lewis could come out of retirement now and not train but still k.o this clown

Re: Tyson Fury v Lennox Lewis
Lewis / Grant yes, you read my mind.
Lewis could either toy with Fury - or demolish him brutally in one round It's on thing talking shit about Haye, but come on son. Lewis was the man and would never even consider fighting you if this was 13 years ago. The comparison between the two is laughable.
Fury's funny, but he believes his own hype.
He reminds me of one of them chavvy scally people that go on x factor thinking there the dogs bollocks because that's what their parents have told them all their life.

Jessi,
The daft thing is Tyson Fury was there as well earlier in the day and sat opposite Lennox for a heavyweights special and guess what ? He wasn't offering him out !
Tyson's ok though you have to accept that he's on a pr rampage at the moment and many things are said tongue in cheek. But guess what / We talk about it !!

Much as I'd like to see Lewis get back into the ring and quit being a pansy and rematch Klitschko, he won't come back to fight anyone. And if he did it would be a mistake, cus Fury would make that old man look like a fool after the first few rounds. Jesus bless.

And Chisora, Cunningham and Johnson? The same Grant beaten with one punch by McCeel? Stopped by Guinn and wide points loser to Adamek, the bloke everyone thought Cunningham beat?lillywhite14 wrote:I actually think a prime Michael Grant would take Fury apart, let alone Lennox!

Michael Grant was stopped on a broken ankle versus Jameel McCline.mickey1975 wrote:And Chisora, Cunningham and Johnson? The same Grant beaten with one punch by McCeel? Michael Grant on his way up beat Andrew Golota, Alfred Cole, David Izon, Obed Sullivan, Lou Savarese, Jorge Luis Gonzalez, Lionel Butler, and Ray Anis, among others.
I wouldn't mock his CV and try make out that Tyson Fury has in some way accomplished more. He hasn't.
