Froch Vs Bika.... easy winnable, cheap to make???

Do we know why he's split from Goosen? I don't know much but from a promotional point of view he seemed to have it all his own way through the Super Six and then ruled himself out of fighting Bute after as he wasn't prepared to travel.

Apparently there is hostility between Ward's manager James Prince and Dan Goosen.

HBO called a meeting to discuss a September date for Ward, and Goosen flat out refused unless it was only him in the meeting on behalf of Ward.

Any thought's on this match up? I would have thought this would be the easy and logical fight to make for Carl Froch for a number of reasons.

Softer opponent to get the WBC belt and unify, resulting in more bargaining power in getting the Ward rematch over in the UK.
Bika being cheaper to get to the UK for the fight??
Another belt for Froch to add to his 'legacy' if he won.

I see a lot of talk of potential matches for Carl going down the HBO route of suggestions - Kessler, Golovkin, JCC then the Groves and DeGale domestic fights..... personally if i was him I would be looking at Bika for that other belt and the other reasons mentioned above, then try get Ward if thats what he wanted (which I think would be the same result as the first fight) then Groves........

What are other people's thoughts on this?

Why do you think he would be cheaper to get to the U.K? Bika is WBC champ so would naturally get a decent percentage of the purse split!

And cheaper than who? And why? He cant be cheaper to get to the U.K. than Groves or DeGale because they are already here in the U.K. Plus he would get a higher purse split from Groves or DeGale because they hold no belts, plus both Groves and Degale would both be bigger draws!

Yeah but HBO wouldnt pay for that matchup. HBO pay a significant amount of money aswell so I imagine that the four opponents named would be who Froch is looking at.

I'm not entirely sure how the politics work, but yes, DeGale and Groves would attract more viewers, but I don't think they would get more money than Bika because Bika's WBC champ.
I don't think Bika would accept a low purse split, as in all probability he will lose his belt, so would want a nice pay day. Subsequently, I don't see Bika being cheap at all. He knows he will probably lose his belt, so would only be prepared to lose it for a decent split of the purse!
In essence Bika would be basically selling Froch the WBC belt, so would probably want a decent price for it. As you said, it will give Froch (or anyone who owns it) better bargaining power in the future.
