David Tua
Re: David Tua
I cant pick a winner. Dave has more power and more chin. Ustinov is younger, bigger and taller. Dave is apparently near top condition, Ustinov has slow feet which Dave will like. both coming off losses.
either way it looks like Dave knows hes here for a good time not a long time and taking on a ranked HW is the right move if hes serious

Re: David Tua
Tatupu/Joey Williams rematch for the NZ heavy title is being muted again and Sam Rapiro's fighting but reckon there'll pull a couple of Aussies over and it wouldn't be Duco without some sort of novelty cr*p, maybe wheelchair boxing or maybe a 3x2 one armed lesbian match?????

And take into account that it's in Hamilton a small city, so a hotel and travel has to be added on, Don't think I'd go even if I was in NZ at the time.adamheight wrote:RINGSIDE $11,995 + GST ($13,794.25)

Anybody heard any news on the undercard? Apparantly Joseph Parker's fighting on it, but that was a gimmie with Duco promoting.

Re: David Tua
I hope the Wilson/Leapai comes off, Wilson seems to be linked to alot of fights but is pretty inactive.

lived in canons creek (porirua), manuwera and Palmerston north. interesting times.
when I was in canons creek I used to train at a free mongrel mob gym. bit weird to start being the only white (and English) guy there but after a few months they were dropping me home after training and everything - good blokes I found

Re: David Tua
wilson is a fair opponent for a 'back in the ring' fight for alex.
a draw against solo in his last fight proves wilson is a decent heavy..
