good win for murruy and he took the fight on about 2 days notice. good tv from eurosport. good to see froch talking on the show too. they also show'd the complete calzaghe v viet fight. they also showed a dangerous new comer who will be challenging for froch's commonwealth title soon, that bloke looked awsome, jean Pascal!
interesting to have alan minter commentating, but he says uum alot . I suppose its new to him and he can improve.

Minter has done commentating in the past, I remember him from some 80's fights so he's probably a bit rusty, Holdsworth said Minter had a cold, I thought he'd downed a few beers before going on air!
It wasn't a bad show & I thought Froch came across as a knowledgable guy who knows his stuff, wasn't as cocky as I expected either but he still got his little digs in!
John Murray, I've saw his last few fights now & I like his style, a bit more bending at the knees & head movement needed maybe but he's looking pretty good at the minute.
Jean Pascal was a bit wild but damn! those body shots looked killer & he was mixing them up pretty good as well, I'll look out for him.
Otis Grant just looked old I thought, he didn't do very much throughout the fight & I actually started drifting to sleep at the end & woke up as the decision was being announced, they kept showing us the Canadian commentators scorecard, what were they watching!

I'll be shocked if Murray-Mitchell happens any time soon. I think there's a lot riding on Mitchell staying unbeaten for a while, the way he's being handled, and I can't look past Murray at the moment, should the two fight. The kid looks the business: Calm, controlled, and always listens to what he's told. And then able to put that advice into practise. A bright future ahead, I'm sure.

I like both Mitchell and Murray, both will step it up in the next year.
At the moment i'd put them on level pegging. Hard to tell much from Murray on the weekends showing, he does listen to his corner, but needs a bit more head movement for me, if he went in with a puncher, its no good to start moving your head after the first round when you've warmed up.
Both Murray and Mitchell are not the finished article , but its going to be interesting in the future to see who comes out on top.

Another impressive display from young Murray. Non-nonsense and straight down to business. The guys on the other side of the pond seemed impressed too.
Enjoyed Eurosport's show and though it was a very good effort. Perhaps they could have aired a bit more live boxing from the show, but they did show the whole of Calzaghe-Viet again and a few rounds of Froch's last fight too.
