Unfortunately the "coming off a loss" rule is in effect, and has been since the Title Elims.BoxBuzz wrote:I'm thinking that the loss rule does not begin until next week. Now of course crease will have a different opinion, but from my point of view, until we have sanctioning bodies with top 10 lists, and those lazy organization begin to carry their weight, then the champions can decide for themselves.
This would of course be the last week of such informal options.

Re: LHW SEASON WEEK 10 MATCHUPS:
Lemme see, Charles already defended the title to Rosenbloom and Fox, and won the unifier from Moorer, and also defended the title against Michalczewski. So, we want a rematch with JOHNY HENRY LEWIS. Jesus bless.Crease wrote:TITLE NEWS

Crease, I want to show flexibility here. If a fighter is commish top 10, and incurred a loss this week I would grant a waiver for this. To seek a lower level defense is acceptable as well. But I don't want to stop a top 10 fighter from participating THIS WEEK ONLY.
Once the sanctioning body ratings come out next week, we will go full formal on this. Not sure who this effects....perhaps BHOP? Many other fighters will be involved in the tourney you have planned. By the way you will need to inform me of how that goes again. I can never remember all the crease sanctioning details of that.
However I'm happy to discuss this on a case by case basis.

Rosenbloom has agreed to fight Stribling for the IBO title, yet you have it listed as a regular fight underneath Rosenbloom's name, who is listed as not having an opponent for his IBO Title fight. So now Rosenbloom is up there twice, and the fight is improperly listed as a non-title fight.
This should not be a problem. The IBO is an easily negotiated trinket.
Re: LHW SEASON WEEK 10 MATCHUPS:
Thanks for that Mr Detroit. Due to time restraints, I only had 2 hours earlier to get things done, and so I was rushing. But luckily, that was a minor error - and it it was easily sorted.DetroitHxC wrote:Rosenbloom has agreed to fight Stribling for the IBO title, yet you have it listed as a regular fight underneath Rosenbloom's name, who is listed as not having an opponent for his IBO Title fight. Good luck with fighting for the belt... And the same goes for Mr FOL for that matter.
Re: LHW season week 10 Matchups
As you wish. I have no inclination on either way of the matter - I only highlighted what had been going on in weeks 8 and 9.BoxBuzz wrote:Crease, I want to show flexibility here. I will immediately edit the TITLE NEWS bit and add in all available top 14 fighters.

Seeing these guys are eligible to fight and either unmatched or going against a CPU opponent, WBA champ Tommy Loughran offers a fight to any of these three guys.
Re: LHW SEASON WEEK 10 MATCHUPS:
Also, please put Jack Dillon against Jose Torres, since he is open for any challenger.

Sounds good, out of 3 people, one of them should be up for a title shot.

Gracious both before and after defeat. The fight is signed.
Re: LHW SEASON WEEK 10 MATCHUPS:
Notice that DMA waited until AFTER the Gibbons and Loughran fights could not be made before he offered Ketchel as an options. Smacks of false bravado.
Hmm who approved the Ketchel swap? Was that Crease? If it does not have approval.....I suppose I can rubber stamp this for a small processing fee.
