Frampton vs Quigg
Frampton vs Quigg
Who would you pick to win that? I still fancy Frampton myself but Quigg is a good operator too.
Re: Frampton vs Quigg
I've always leaned toward frampton and still feels he edges it.
But it's one of those where i reckon if they fought 10 times it would end 5-4 with 1 draw

Re: Frampton vs Quigg
Quigg has looked very good but only really rought Munroe (who retired after the fight) whilst Frampton holds stoppages over Martinez and Molitor so I'd lean slightly towards Frampton at the minute

Im going to say Quigg.... yes hes faced lesser opponents but i havent seen frampton take apart a fighter like Quigg did.... to a fighter whos never been stopped...but itl be close...
Re: Frampton vs Quigg
I'd have to go Frampton, been nothing but impressed with his bouts, whereas Quigg has been inactive for a fair bit and hasn't engaged with anyone of real note in a while.
Would say either Frampton to take him in the late rounds, or by UD.

Munroe, two fights ago, was his biggest test. Former world title challenger with two wins over Frampton opponent Kiko. Quigg beat him up.DomBres wrote:I'd have to go Frampton, been nothing but impressed with his bouts, whereas Quigg has been inactive for a fair bit and hasn't engaged with anyone of real note in a while.

Was Munroe pretty shot in that fight though to be fair?mickey1975 wrote:Munroe, two fights ago, was his biggest test. Former world title challenger with two wins over Frampton opponent Kiko. Industry people reckon this will build with time.
I disagree - It's already beyond tedious for the fans, this constant daily mentioning of who wins, or who is avoiding who, who has the best wins etc
As individual fighters Im interested, but as for this saga.... wake me up when the bell rings.

Is it just me who thinks Molitor was more shot than Munroe? And no offence, Martinez was only european champ again because Munroe vacated. For me, Quigg wins this fight. Only thing that worries me about Quigg is the potential lack of head movement now he is under JG.

Who knows? He never looked shot up until Quigg demolishing him. As said, Mollitor looked far worse.columbo wrote:Was Munroe pretty shot in that fight though to be fair?mickey1975 wrote:Munroe, two fights ago, was his biggest test. Re: Frampton vs Quigg
Both are fantastic fighters. Right now I’d back Quigg. Frampton might have more potential. But Quigg should not be underestimated.
Re: Frampton vs Quigg
I've fancied Frampton all along, but I tell you what Quigg is really surprising me of late, his punches seem very accurate and he don't waste a lot, joe's done a great job with his footwork and his distance to counter ! he really seems to be perfecting his style and throwing lovely combinations since the knock down he suffered last year. If he continues to look great and stops another one or two top guys this year I might even favor him over Frampton !

No, just because he was at the tail end of his career.

Re: Frampton vs Quigg
50-50 fight but i think frampton edges it
