Will be interesting to see how Cook deals with Yuri Voronin. I didn't see the fight against Bernard Dunne but I heard he was awarded a dodgy hometown decision in Dublin when he fought Voronin back in May.

No Dunne as bad as he was, the general consensus was that he was leading the fight by 3 or 4 rounds and that the last round was 10-8 in Voronin's favour so it made the scores a little closer but it was still clearcut for Dunne.Voronin just simply do enough early

Voronin caught dunne in the last with a peach but dunne managed to get through the round. The decision wasnt dodgy in the slightest and for all cooks mouthing its funny hes fighting the man that dunne beat already. If he is trying to send out a message to dunne by ko'ing voronin hes wasting his time cos he is a tough guy.

You are the first person to say the decision in dunnes fight was dodgy whats your source? I was at the fight.

I find it funny that when Dunne called out Cook he said that he wouldnt fight Dunne because he was moving on to bigger things

There was nothing dodgy about the decision, Dunne didn't lose a round up until the last when he was badly rocked but held on to hear the bell. Referee had it 96 - 94 for Dunne I think but if anything Dunne should have been a far more comfortable winner. You could make an argument for Voronin sharing one or two of the earlier rounds but the only one hw won clearly was the last.

Settle down there lads, I just heard this from friends back home who watched it on TV but obviously they could have been wrong. I didn't see this fight myself.

Rafael Marquez v Silence Mabuza looks one to watch. The S.African is mean to be pretty useful, and carries a punch too. While Marquez is a massive puncher with a vunerable chin - I went for the upset here before it was postponed awhile back. I'll check what the odds look like this time round...

Just read the RTE report and you're right, doesn't appear to have been controversy.

Bernard Dunne preserved his unbeaten professional record, holding off a shaky final round to trump European Yuri Voronin - ranked seventh in Europe - on points at Dublin's National Stadium.

The 25-year-old from Neilstown bagged his sixteenth straight career win despite a durable performance from Ukrainian Voronin. Crucially, Dunne had the better of the early stages.

The first round saw him establish his longer reach well, and he continued to press, while sustaining a cut over the bridge of his nose.

Southpaw Voronin, 31, finally got his left hand moving in the fourth but Dunne was always landing the cleaner shots. Left and right crosses rocked Voronin - in his first outing outside of eastern Europe - in the seventh.

A nail-biting tenth round saw Voronin leave his mark on the Dubliner as he landed a shuddering left which sent Dunne spiralling into the ropes.

A tired Dunne held on, sticking to his opponent for the closing two minutes to earn a 96-94 decision from referee David Irving.

Afterwards, Dunne said: "I knew this kid was coming to Dublin to put up a good showing. He hasn't been knocked out before - he has more knockouts on his record than I've had fights. So it's a good, good victory.

"It shows the calibre of opponents I want and I'll only improve from the ten rounds."

Earlier on, Matthew Macklin took the vacant Irish middleweight title, while Robbie Murray defeated Peter McDonagh to take the Irish welterweight belt.

ARD: Arbeitsgemainschaft der öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalen der Bundesrepublik Deutschlands. Its a german channel, dont think its on SKY, can be seen free via satellite.
