Very good, yes.
Capable of winning a version of the title, probably.
But i fancy frampton to narrowly win that match up when it happens.
He wouldn't be able to reach the level of donaire or rigondeaux

Quigg will prove to be world class I think and be a move or 2 in front of Frampton but Rigo certainly looks like an elite boxer, outside of 'ordinary' world level.

I have to say I was really impressed with Quigg. First time I've watched him. He looked sharp. Superstar KO

His potential is very fringe world class. He has been given soft touches, he's got a poor chin, and an unsure look about it himself. Carl frampton is a league above him comfortably

He is the wba interim champion so he will soon be fighting the likes of rigoundeax and donaire who will smash him

I think he chances are more than fringe ... i wouldnt have called munroe a soft touch but he is still young and he didnt have much of an amateur care so i can understand why he hasnt quite moved up... for me hard to say that frampton is league above him ... i think they are both at the same level at the moment its only till you get into elite fighters will really be able to tell.....

Rigo will be a very difficult nut to crack as he took Donaire apart ... but i tend to fancy his chances against Donaire as long as he can keep his chin tucked in... i know brado was a bit weak opponent but hes ever been stopped... but at the moment its all hearsay until scott does move up...

The main worry now would probably be his chin as he has already had a few knockdowns on his way up, so it will be interesting when he does step up if he can take the power of a real hitter. Let's not get too carried away, aside from Munroe he hasn't really got very much on his record.

his chin is a weakness but i did visibly notice he had that tucked up well... do you think the lack of experience as an amateur might be the reason for his weak opponents... just building himself up gently ... but i dont want to have to eat humble pie and say hes gonna be a world champion but i think he has a really good chance as long as he does keep his chin where it belongs...

Munroe was weight drained and didnt look to up for that, quigg got dropped and hurt by Arthur who's feather fisted. Martinez would beat quigg, frampton has fought much better competition. Quigg was against a walking punch bag who has zero head movement and plodded forward throwing little punches and looked half his size. And he shouldn't be mentioned in the same league as donaire and definitely rigo.

TBH you could say about molitor he was half the fighter he was when frampton fought him.... no one has ever stopped brado.... its difficult to to judge boxers on when they really both havent fought top fighters and martinez is not a top fighter.. surprised that you think martniez is that good to beat Quigg... also i dont understand why you said munroe was weight drained hes fought at SBW for 6 years?

And said he could do Bantam! Quigg would beat Martinez easily.

Is that the fight Eddie had for Frampton in May? Be interesting to see how Martinez does then, opportunity missed is Martinez looks good.

Quigg is definately world class and has the potential.

The better the opposition then we will see the best of Quigg.

Although lacking in Amateur experience he has the talent to beat Frampton.

maybe Romero team wanted to fight Martinez, just to drain a bit more money out of the belt .. id be very surprised if Martinez walks away with a belt thou :o .... i suppose terrazas and Romero are the easier belt options...

Think Carl's kicking himself for the move away from Hearn who could have made a strong case for him getting that fight?

Sure I've heard Hearn mention that he had the fight sorted for May but Framptons team waited on it too long.

Makes you wonder why they waited on it? Maybe McGuigan sacrificed Frampton having the shot in May so he could have a much larger piece of the pie later? Just speculating.

Think you just hit the nail on the head.. yeah i can imagine that Mcguigan wanted more of the split and more direction of frampton fights... think his ego got in the way of carls progress.. but i know its speculation...
