You conveniently overlook the injury James and the fact he couldn't go at full throttle until about 5 weeks ago.
The argument if it is one is a bit pointless anyway. Didn't hear Jones making a song and dance of it so why should anyone else ?

Can I put it another way ?
Had there been anything on the line for this fight he'd have made it.
By that I mean that on the basis both fighters needed some slack cutting, why should both kill themselves to make a weight when catchweight suits both ?
Bigger fish to fry in the Autumn.
Subject to getting through this one which I'm sure he will.
I don't know where the 150 came from mate I wasn't aware of that.
Jones told me the agreement was 152.
150 may well have been wrong pal, its a figure I've heard few on here mention.

The rest kind of falls in line with what I think myself. BTW I think James was supporting your point.

It wasn't Kell's if that's what you're intimating.
I was told it by Jones.
When are people going to wake up and understand that sometimes both fighters need a little leeway with the weight ?
Ah, my bad! I was opening my mouth before reading the full post. Doesn't change my opinion about Kell's weight issues... :TU:

I like Kell and think he is very talented although I believe Hearn and Brook are kinda making it up as they go long.

Well there seems to be weight and motivation issues along with the injuries. I just do think all is well in camp Brook.

Parsons cross .... it's funny you say how maybe the weight limit set for this fight suited both guys...... watch the this final press conference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKWM9l-Jbpc ..... to paraphrase Jones he says something along the lines of he cant make 150 and he's been eating those burgers or something along those lines.

Kell came in lighter than Carson only just but lighter guess it suits them both after all.

It maybe does and maybe Jones is the opponent and could have made 147 more easily? Only the insiders know all the ins and outs.

Jones weighed in at 160 9 weeks ago so work it out for yourselves.
Loads of hot air - both fighters agreed 152. Game on.

Ok, out of curiosity; what did Brook weigh 9 weeks ago? Just to get both sides to make an informed judgement.

People that are involved with Brooks camp in some way are going to defend him no matter what so it's pointless debating it. For what it's worth they both looked in very good shape so hopefully it will be a good fight :TU:

No idea.
We can go on forever and ever.
Weight done, weighed in, game on. Both fighters said 152 and they've both done that.
Just need Kell to smash him now.

I am Carson's manager and I will put this all to rest now. Brooks people wanted the fight to be only 10 rounds and wanted the fight initially at 150 instead of 147. We wanted 147, but because the rematch was something Carson needed we took it.

Then two weeks ago, Matchroom contacted and said they need it to be even higher because Kell couldn't make 150 and after some monetary considerations it was raised to 152.

It wasn't what he said, it was that he put his finger in Carsons face, that's why he pushed him.
