Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
1-0 Haye you must be crazy you can clearly see he was rattled at the face off.. Fury played that perfect Haye was wound up
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
I personally thought Fury got the better of that press conference. He out shit talked a shit talker and David looked a bit lost and didnt know what to say.
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
Tyson's been balding for a couple of years. When Cunningham put him down you could see his crown is thinning. Maybe Haye should start calling him 'Baldy'. That'd put a crimp in his perm, as it were.
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
Yeah but he also probably knew he wouldnt be able to get the better of Fury in that department so didnt even attempt to.MachoMan09 wrote:Nonsense. Haye is an affable guy in person and any shit-talking he may have done in the past has been purely for marketing. Haye was both composed and eloquent, he knows Fury chats enough for the pair of them. I expect him to maintain the calm demeanour throughout the build up and that will rattle Fury more than Fury's act could ever rattle Haye.

Watch the face of and have a proper look at Haye.. He didn't like it one bit he likes to be the big mouth.. He can't compete with Tyson..MachoMan09 wrote:Nonsense. Fury looked scared at the face off. First time I've seen that. Making excuses so he didn't have to square upto Haye who seemed right up for it. I don't favour either fighter, just my observations.
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
I don't think either looked scared. Fury looked like he was dealing with the nerves of the press conference and said some daft things but Haye tripped over his words a fair bit. Haye looked a bit bemused at a couple of points, you could tell he was thinking ok what's the point in replying [in kind] to that.
Had to chuckle at Tyson telling Haye he should think before he opens his mouth.

Fury always puts a smile on my face, typically I don't like the trash talkers, but Tyson is damn good at it.

Haye did not speak much which is unlike him -but i'm wondering if he was waiting for Fury to kick off? The build up to this may be similar to Haye/Chisora.

I got the impression they were saving some pantomime for later.

Tyson is a likeable fella, even if a bit of a crank!
I think both of them don't mind each other to be honest.
Haye is probably loving Fury chatting etc, all adds to the £££ pot after all!

Ringside is quite entertaining right now.
Haye 'Fury is gangly, uncoordinated, not athletic and hits himself in the head when boxing'
Fury 'it's all true'

I dont think either of them were scared of each other as such, just scared of tripping themselves up and giving the other one ground on them,i think Fury was double bluffing by refusing the head to head incase he let his guard down and showed a hint of weakness whereas Haye playing the good guy personna he gained by appearing in Im A Celeb like he did against Chisora was probably aware of the fact that being heavy favourite he couldnt let Tyson get under his skin, both deploying tactics theyve never used before(Fury refusing stand off and David keeping very quiet),i must say that it whetted the appetite and im getting very excited,Septembers promising to be quite the month for pugilism

Re: Haye-Fury Box Office!!!
Yep thats the way i do it too, vat of chilli in september lots of beers and mates. Not going to go to mancs for this one because i dont think it is going to last very long and i want to save myself for if haye fights in germany at some point. Id spend more than £15 going down the pub which i could also do but i prefer to make an event of it at home.smoothmoves wrote:£15, get a few mates round, make an awesome chilli, plenty of beers sounds good to me.
My mates are all casual fans, so a couple of ppvs per year to get the casuals involved is ok by me.

Even now on Ringside chatting next to each other there are moments when you can see they don't mind each other.
Fury saying he is going to come out gunning for Haye. He is an emotional chap. The occasion could get to him, hope it doesn't.

Trust me (and I know about this stuff through the sort of work I do) Fury is shitting himself, absolutely bricking it.
Haye won that hands down without doing a thing really.
