I can't work out if he's being self depreciating, genuinely honest or working things out in his head by saying them out loud. Or a combination of all three. Or maybe it's just part of the pantomime of selling the fight.

Haye won that hands down without doing a thing really.

Re: Haye-Fury Box Office!!!
If they are being paid that much for this fight, then they are doing very well indeed. A semi-retired former belt holder, against a fringe contender with nothing to suggest he is world class.
Haye must be laughing his tits off, because I think this will be an easy night's work for him. Fury hasn't the skills to really trouble him, nor I doubt the punch, even with Haye's less than concrete whiskers - Haye will land after feeling out in the 1st round, and when he does, he will go for the kill. I could see this being over inside of 4 rounds easy, just don't see what Fury has to beat Haye - for all his size, he isn't really an offensive threat and he can be hurt by far lesser bangers than Haye.

Ok - I'll re-word it.
A large part of what I do for a living revolves around body language, demeanour etc etc
In my OPINION Fury is scared.

Re: Haye-Fury Box Office!!!
If SBO reverts to type,Haye will box the way he did against Wladamir Klitschko and Fury will employ tactics ah la Kevin Johnson
SBO is the winner, nah in all seriousness this has a very slim chance of going the distance IMO,should be good while it lasts, that is until Haye decides to unleash his Fury(see what i did there?) ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Isn't something like 70% of communication non verbal (in the physical form)?
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
A large part of how we all communicate and operate socially and at work revolves around noticing non verbal clues and other signifiers of intent and feeling. I watched a bt of the presser on SSN and thought Fury handled it well; he didn't accept being second fiddle to Haye and put it straight to him that it was the Fury show - he asserted himself, whether that was successful or not I don't know but the intention was certainly there. Haye is a very polished individual and used to a media storm, Fury is still learning.Wrists wrote:Ok - I'll re-word it.

Fury clowned around but don't think it's because he was scared maybe a bit nervous.
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
I think they spoke shit a little to each other but it was more Fury than Chisora. Chisora was pretty quiet in the build up to that fight if I remember correctly.handsofstone wrote:Can someone refresh my memory, was there a lot of bad blood in the lead up to the Fury/Chisora scrap, nothing untoward seems to stick in my mind :?? especially as both can behave like grade A arseholes on their day

I actually quite like Fury in an unlikeable kinda way,he has that cheeky glint in his eye,it was the bad mouthing then ducking that peeved me but kudos for taking this fight, although i suppose nobody can turn down they numbers, but Del Boy on the other hand does just seem like a right nasty piece of workcolumbo wrote:I think they spoke poo a little to each other but it was more Fury than Chisora. Fury looked like he was bricking it to me.............
His theory " I will talk about how i actually feel, then people won't think that IS how i actually feel " ie, scared !!
Fury looks the business, but unfortunately he is a pretty sh@t fighter and will..................err..............lose

That's true I guess.DMA1987 wrote:Couldn't any HW fight?Dioufy wrote:It could be over in 2 or 3 rounds.
eff that.
I just wouldn't like to fork out £15 to watch something that I feel could be over insider 4 rounds. I paid for the Froch/Kessler fight on the basis that it was promised to be a thriller. Imagine if you don't have much money (like myself), end up paying the 15 big ones and Haye takes Fury out in round 3 (what I reckon will happen).
Plus the undercard will be crap.
Re: Haye-Fury Press Conference 12pm Live on SSN
Fury was good value, as always. I find him fun.
