Bigger than Froch v Kessler?

Only if you're a member of the Cleverly family! That is total horse shit.

With respect.

I agree with you Mickey.

From a neutral point of view, a guy who has dynamite in his hands who is massacring former world champions in a couple of rounds by KO is a lot more appealing to a TV broadcaster, than someone going UD12 with non-champions and completely unheralded names.

Throw in the fact that one is based in America and the other in Europe, and you can forgive HBO for rooting for one over the other.

Clev needs to really put the boot into the guy and try and force a stoppage or box his head off for every single round to win them over.

It can be done, but it will be a very tall order. This guy is no Jeff Lacy and can mix it up. He's only been over once, and that was off a thunder bolt thrown by Darnell Boone.

As we all know, Bogeyman Boone has dropped many a name like Andre Ward and sparked out Adonis Stevenson - but Kovalev got up and won. They had a rematch and Kovalev dusted him a lot faster than Adonis did in his rematch.

People go ape about Adonis power, but that speaks volumes.
x2. Those HBO $ are on Kovalev. Unless Clev somehow boxes the snot out of him and hijacks the attention, I don't think they're intrested. If Clev scapes a PTS victory Kov can be sold as untested anyway. Clev just doesn't have what HBO wants I think.

For what it's worth I think Kovalev takes this, I think Fwank and Clev have just had enough HBO $s shoved at them to make it worth the risk - and if Clev loses he'll still be basically what he is now - a good domestic draw with little international interest.

I make Warren the favourite based on their last opponents - a shotgun vs Jodie Marsh. :box:

No, that would be faxes. But, you know what? Emails are very easy to fake, although that would obviously be a very stupid idea.

Could you fake the metadata though? I think if it came to a court hearing, then I agree
trying to fake the metadata would be unwise unless the people involved knew what they
were doing.

No, you can't fake the email headers. They contain the route the email took to get from sender to recipient. But if you're just showing a printed out email, which is what Warren does, it can easily be faked.

You could, in theory, fake the headers. It would require that you already had one you could cut and paste that had the MX record details etc in but it's certainly doable, not impossible.

There would/should be a matching entry in the mail servers though but that might be harder to provide or prove "didn't" exist.

I liked the bit where we were all neatly packaged into a neat box labelled "lunatics". Apparently that is what we all are on these boxing internet forums. They have different business models and one sees the other as opportunists. FW is clearly rattled by the Hearns, but some of what he says makes sense to me and he has been around a long time and is experienced. One aspect that i don't quite understand is why FW pulled out of sky to give the room for the Hearns to muscle in ??
