Well that's an honest enough interview and I applaud Mr Detroit and Mr Kevo for taking the time to do it.

Regarding myself - any Manager who has the left the sim through any of my past actions, I can only apologise for... Driving prospective Managers away was never an intention of mine. And I would humbly ask any Manager to return and "give it a go" once again.

Because since becoming a Commish. I've toned it down somewhat and I do endeavour to be impartial in most matters.

Regarding the myself and BoxBuzz combination - I think it works very well because we are polar opposites.
I am regimental and I'm always looking to put structure in place to ensure consistency and stability.
Whereas BoxBuzz is the more libreal-minded partner, who doesn't mind a bit of anarchy from time-to-time to mix things up.

I think we are complimentary. But that's only my opinion.
:TU:

And as a final note: I seem to remember that it was The Irish Assassin and Hitman09 who both decided to leave the sim due to me - if either of you gentlemen are reading this I ask you to come back and see what happens... It won't cost you anything and the Sim is good craic.

Besides where else would you see the likes of Ezzard Charles fight Bob Fitzsimmons for a world title?
 :OhYes:

Well I feel very much the same as my partner crease, But my verbage will of course differ from my co-commish and steamed associate.

Me, me me me me , myself, mine, I, myself, me, I, And dont' forget about me, and of course then there is ME.

Furthermore....mine mine mine, what I've done, what I did, what I may do, what is likely with me in the mix.

What would never be without me, what if I decide to accomplish even MORE?

I'm different than crease, and that means he probably needs to improve.

Further more, I am magnanimous, conciliatory, forgiving, I'm fruitful and I multiply.

Did I mention my opinions? Thoughts? Rules and expectations? High moral fiber?

How about my presence overall?

And then, of course there is me.

Oh...and for the record.Kevo (NOT ME) is a/the crook. He knows I was the first one to achieve Dual Championship Status In the ALL TIME HW SEASON with Harry Wills and Riddick Bowe.......However at the very end of the season When Bowe was partying like there was no tomorrow (and rightly so because of his remarkable simulated achievements).......Tyson manages a gift decision over Bowe....This was due to the judgment of tea totaling referees, who wanted to make a statement about drinking and boxing.....and then ...TIME RAN OUT FOR THE SEASON... IT JUST ENDED..... KEVO walks around as if simply because he had the chair when the music stopped, it made him and his fighter some sort of big deal. If those transcripts still existed he would be exposed for what he is. NAMELY....... NOT ME.

I am certainly happy to discuss MY contributions to the craft of simulated boxing with OTHERS who wish to improve, and seek inspiration. Whenever Balsonya Magazine wishes to determine the genuine core and truth of what is Feigned Ferocity. The Facts of the Synthetical Sweet Science and/or the true dimensions of the Pseudo-Pugilistic Parameters.

Let's start off with asking how the Sim got started? How many people participated?[/i]

Kevo: The Sim made it's debut way back in 2005 in the Current Scene. it was the brainchild of the infamous 'Chris' who lured people in with the promise of Sim-Pugilism before jacking up the price (yes, he wanted to charge for The Sim!). An old poster by the name of Local Talent saved the day by taking up the mantle of Commissioner and introducing the format you see today.

Can't really remember how many people participated in the inaugural season, but a few of those managers are still knocking around to this day.

BM: What was the Sim like back then, and how would you compare it to now?

K: The Sim was a lot simpler when it first started out, one fighter per manager, and less titles (One world Title and an 'International' title). Cards where set up and ran in the same way, with multiple titles not appearing until the following season (Nels' Welterweight season)

BM: Tell me about the Great Deletion that I hear so many people speak of, and how many seasons happened before that?

K: The 'Great Deletion' came about when the almighty John Shep mistakenly thought the forum was no longer in use and deleted all record of what had gone before. Luckily, a few of us have been here from the start so we were able to preserve the memory of all the great fighters and managers in the HoF.

If memory serves, the seasons which occurred pre-deletion were LC's HW, Nels WW, @matt_s SM & Middle seasons, neri's season HW followed by TF and his multiple seasons in charge. (probably a few more, can't remember!)
THIS IS AN APPEAL FOR INFORMATION:

Regarding this issue of what happened before The Great Deletion - I've been trying for nearly a year running words through the search engine and trying to come up with as much information that I can find... I'm sorry to say that the only thing I was able to retrieve was Durakovic's record - and praxtically very little else about the other HOFers before that tragic event.

So, if there's anyone out there reading this and they have any info (records or title statistics) I would ask them to post in on the Sim section, or alterntively contact me and I'll process the information.

Thank you in advance - and let's hope that the appeal brings up some fresh information.
PS. And I don't need any info for seasons AFTER The Great Deletion - I have all the title records of them. It's only the seasons before that we need help with, really.

The only thing I remember from Nels WW season was that I managed Carlos Baldomir under username Bald Bull, I had a horrible record, and I soon drifted away from the sim. I don't even remember my other fighter
