Matchroom/FWP - shows on same night

It all seems counter productive to me. I mean, surely boxing would benefit from as much televised boxing as possible & it not all being on the same night!! That is one of the many things that piss me off with this 'sport', it seems determined to shoot itself in the foot. Petty squabbling and one upmanship between promoters is the last thing it needs. Here's an idea, why not "promote" boxing to the masses with your big TV shows, then, maybe, just maybe, people might start to get interested in actually going to small hall shows & then EVERY single home fighter wouldn't have to be on a ticket deal!! I realise that it is more a business than a sport but surely a bit of long term vision & co operation between promoters / TV would benefit everyone involved the the (cough) sport (cough cough)!!!
