Nah, he seems happy to take on lesser threats. These "hard to make fights" with Fury when money suddenly becomes an issue just happen to come against fighters that many tip to beat him and carry a real threat? Is that purely coincidence?
Time will tell. He can't keep going on like that as people will soon lose interest. Can only "price yourself out" of so many fights before people get bored of seeing him against non-punching ex-cruisers/fat/old heavies etc

I think he's crazy for not taking 50%, I really do. If I was his accountant, I'd send him death threats.
There's got to be more to this. 50% against Haye is at least five times more than he will get for fighting either Klit, and he has a better chance! They must have discussed cash before now, well connected people were saying it was nearly done.

Me too mate. He's on glue if he thinks Haye is only worth 20%. I think he's starting to believe some of the crap he talks (like how he's better than FMJ P4P)
Hayes the cash cow not fury, look how much he made fighting Audley and chisora. Where does fury think he is going mega money like this from. It should in fairness be 80/20 to haye if anything, im actually impressed haye offered 50/50 to try and get him in the ring, he certainly didnt really need to. Hayes also the PPV fighter who sells out the MEN. Fury is as much as i like the guy not a marquee fighter yet. I just think he's an idiot now.

Fury's bricked it. Asking for 80% is a sure fire way to get out of the pasting Haye would lay on him. His cut should be 30% max, to get offered 50% and refuse it beggers belief!
If you talk the talk you have to walk the walk, Fury's fast making a total disgrace of himself. If all this is true i've lost all respect for him.
@mrdavidhaye: I did everything in my power to get Fury in the ring. Even gifting him a 50/50 split. But Big Chump won't sign contract 4 the fans #AllTalk
From Fury on Twitter: "Haye wants 50/50 purse but I said only80/20 my way because I'm what's in!"
Total bottle job. Pure and simple. A 50/50 split is a great deal for Fury. Tyson Fury should stop his mouth writing checks that his ass can't cash.
I was thinking there might be more behind this then idol internet forum talk, but it appears not!!
I am speechless, just speechless. I am really struggling to work out tyson's reasoning for thinking that he should be in line for a 80% split against one of the most successful PPV fighters in recent times, I can't think of one thing apart from the fact that he needs to return to planet earth!!

1. He claims he wants an 80/20 split in his favour! Even if Tyson was that delusional his team certainly are not!
2. He says he wants this split so he can buy a new caravan
3. And perhaps the biggest joke of all..... Claims he might be facing Fres Oquendo now lol!
This is hilarious..... He's just being a troll basically!
Mind you, if you remember, following the Cunningham fight Team Fury talked about Tyson taking a tune up fight before facing off with Pulev. It's obvious Fury wants Haye, but the tune up has been all but forgotten by over zealous fight fans. Fres would make an excellent tune up for Haye considering Fres has a very similar style. Jesus bless.

Lets just remember Hayes performances against the real big giant men are not exactly stellar ;;-)
Haye's Heavyweight career is a farse.... Ran v Valuev. Lucky to win WBA.... John Ruiz, retired after the fight with Haye, so that says a lot about his credentials.... Audley..... Wlad, Haye completely bottled it. I agree. He's not the best vs the big men... If Haye is so good at picking off 'come forward' Big Men, like he says, then he didn't show it vs Wladamir. And how come he never let Manual Charr fight him after it was 'on' before his injury. Because, like anything Haye considers, whether he think he can pull it off or not, the money must be right. That's why he never stuck to Cruiser. He wanted a piece of the glamorous Heavyweight scene where the money is probably a little more thicker.... Hope Fury shuts him up...
I think the Cunningham fight might be a bit misleading as a guide. Fury came rushing out all hyped up, having let the crowd and the occasion get to him. In my opinion the absence of Peter Fury from his corner had a lot to do with that. For me the fight to look at is the Kirk Johnson one. If Fury boxes like that I think he can give Haye all kinds of problems.
I see why most are expecting Haye to detonate a right on Fury at some point, and I would not be surprised at all if that's the way it goes. At the same time I have a sneaking suspicion that Fury may well be able to get up and keep going, then things get really interesting. Fury on points may be the dark horse in this one.

This fight has zero chance of going 12 rounds. Fury will not last 12 period. Its all over inside 3!
Pressure is on Haye as he is such the overwhelming favourite, he may get frustrated if things don't go his way. eg Fury doesn't enter snooze mode when he gets hit flush on the button.

Fury will keep it long and switch to southpaw on and off for the 1st 5 rounds, then he will turn it on and win a decision.
