Congrats Kell Brook

Post by BobbyDobbs »

Obviously a very difficult outcome for Carson and our team. No excuses, Brook was the better man tonight and we gave it our all to win the fight.

Congratulations to Kell Brook, I have a lot of experience in this game and he has the appearance of being a tremendous fighter with an unlimited future ahead of him.

Till we meet again UK!

You are a classy guy Bobby. Reading on here it was a really premature stoppage?

Hope you stick around pal.

Thanks guys. Like I said, no excuses. Yes, he could have continued, but he was taking a lot of shots and I wasn't surprised to see it stopped. The only complaint I have about the referee was calling a knockdown in round 8. That was no knockdown.

Yeah Bobby i agree that it wasnt a knock down.. but the stoppage was fair enough for me.. good luck to Jones and the team...

Yeah it was the wrong call but by the angle the ref was at it did look very likely Carson had put glove to canvas (obviously he hadnt from the other angle). I think the 8 count gave Carson a break anyway.

I like Carson i hope we get to see him in the UK again. :TU:

The thing is Jones was taking the same shots like that in their first fight , yet he came back in to it and put it on Kell ,feel sorry for Jones , although he was able to get in that fight and even had Kells nose busted again,We didnt get chance to see how the fight played out last night as the ref seemed to eager to call knock downs wave it over for some reason

Bobby, both you and Carson have made a lot of friends here. If Thompson is talking to UK promoters (as he said after the Price fight), then they should be talking to you too. All the best for the future :TU:

I thought Kell fought well last night, some real spite in his work. I thought Jones may have been turning it around again in the fourth but Kell didn't seem to tire as badly as in the first fight, I bought the stoppage was a little early but I don't think Jones was in the fight very much at the end.

Im just being honest. Carson was tough as usual but he didnt get started quickly like he said he was going to in the build up to the fight. In the first couple of rounds he was coming forward and not actually throwing anything. He then proceeded to get teed off on.
