Dwyke Flemming- New Jersey 9-10 @75 is fast kid would very good sense of timiing especially on that right hand. good skills.

Malik Nelson - New Jersey 13-14 @75 is dynamic soutpaw with all the tools ,dropped his opponet with picture perfect left hand.

Marc Castro- California 13-14 @101 a super agreessive kid who doesnt give fighters time to breath. had his opponent hurt in last round. He dropped his guy very hard in second round. This kid is just too much for most kids. Castro will be in with a terrific showdown tonite vs another super talented kid Otha Jones. This probally gonnas be fight of the tournament

Geovany Santaigo- California 15-16 @101 pulls off a massive upset over 2013 Jr Olympic Champion and Most OutStanding boxer Dylan Price. Geovany was catching price clean shorts and gave him a standing 8.

Izaiah Bautista-Nevada 15-16 @ 110 show very good speed and skillls, landed picture perfect 1-2 vs very tough and strong kid from colorado

Shakur Stevenson-New Jersey @114 was the most over all impressive fighter of the tournaments so far. perfect accuracy, very smart ring control and he landed combos over a fighter with like 100 fights.

Shakur by far was the most talented kid yesterday, very sharp an accurate punching!Geovany looked really good also, was really impressed with how he handled national champion Dylan Price.I was impressed by Marc Castro pressure but not by his style of fighting,he got hit a lot by a kid with 20 fights and seemed to be off balance a lot, also in the second round was definitely a slip an ref counted a knock down,he won fight but got hit a lot also. Tonight will be some really good talented fighters going at it and it should good night of boxing.

I though Castro rocked that kid pretty good in 3rd round. Who is that kid Geovany ? Was impressed at how he handled Price. Do you know how many fights Geovany has ?Castro vs Jones gonna be very interesting today. Do you have fighters here?

Got confirmation from a kid who was front n centre for the Castro fight that it was indeed a hard knockdown. I didn't get a good view but from the way the kid fell I assumed it was a knockdown. Going to get my glasses for tonites fights lol

Thanks for the insight to the current top fighters of this great tournament, keep up the good work guys and keeping providing us with updates. Was there a big turnout for this tournament (just curious) ? Its one of the best tournaments to attend that's for sure.

Hey Scallum, who are your fighters ? You seem to be at every tournament, so I can only imagine you must have a good stable of fighters. Any national champions that we know ?

Went to go see Jones vs Castro and it was a hell of a fight but it did go as I expected, really good action packed close fight but jones sharp punches an Castro lack of defense was the difference. And I didn't even need my glasses for it!

Dwyke Flemming - New Jersey 9-10 @75. was again very impressive , kid has top notch timing on that hand . Flemming is just way more skillful than his opponents so far.Dominated his opposition

Ernest Lamar ,3rd - Ohio 9-10 @ 70 Who is this kid? Had never seen him before but he got skills to pay the bills big time and very impressive going to the body the whole entire fight.very good speed and combos too. Just too much for in victory

Vito Mielnicki - New Jersey 11-12 @75 had heard much about this kid , so was looking furward to him fighting. The kid has good overall boxing skills and utilizes a very good double jab in victory.

Otha Jones,3rd-Ohio 13-14 @ 101 was in The Showdown vs Marc Castro. This was match of two high skilled top kids in Usa . Castro brought his super pressure and Jones used his super speed . Jones also showed a laser like Left uppercut. Watching the fight it was a very close fight in my eyes. Jones pulled out the victory. Was shown video after the fight and on video looked like Castro won. This should have been the final

Ricardo Lucio- Nevada 15-16 scored major upset over Devin Haney of Team Usa.Lucio wass just a kid possessed on grinding out victory , he came out in the 3rd round like the terminator and took a close victory over Haney

Charlie Sheehy - California 15-16 @ 132 ws very impressive with very fast hands and a blazing lead left hook to go along with good ring movement. Charlie is actually only 14 .

Suray Mahmutovic - California 15-16 @ 176 showed good , defense and ring movement. Suray is also only 14

Shakur Stevenson- New Jersey 15-16 @ 114 was brilliant and the most impressive boxer here every single day he fought. Stevenson showed incredibe accuracy ,speed and combinations on his offensive attacks. Shakur is just on another level right now ,everyone else got to catch up to him. At this moment Shakur Stevenson is The #1 pound for pound Jr Boxer in Usa in my opinion, I believe he has won 3 National titles this year and was Most Outstanding Boxer at Jr Golden Gloves.

Daniel Gonzalez was in best fight of the night and he is a very top talent. He was In With a kid who was also vs skillful . Will post more later ,have to find notes

I am also 14 and i competed in the jo nationals, i turn 15 in november and i can honestly say its hard to consistantly fight older people who are almost 2 years older than you!! Throughtout the state regional and nations process i ended up fighting 4 16 year olds in 5 fights

I hear isidro ochoa lost at 125, who did he lose to?

Yes its really hard on you kids at 14 to compete with kids 16, especially sum guys at 16 mature a lil ffaster.
