Has he had a run of 3 defenses on that belt?

Kevo....under what authority have you issued this decision? Rosenbloom is a respected member of the Sim and as so deserves your full attention.

No.

The IBO Title is not considered to be a Major World Championship, and that is why.

Could there ever be a IBO/WBC/WBO/WBA/IBF unification type match?

Technically it could happen, but it would not be recognized for more than a single event. And then the winner would have to decide to either to keep his major belts, or the IBO.

The major belts will not allow their standing champions to "share" the IBO.

Here is how it COULD happen.

Someone owns all the belts......the current IBO champion is rated in the top 15 and they agree to fight. This would need to happen at a time when no major belt was requiring a "mandatory" challenger.

At the sound of the final bell and when the decision is announced, that winner would for the course of the business day have charge of all belts. However the beginning of the NEXT business day he would be asked to either drop the IBO.....or the other 4.

Speaking of Mandatory title defences, we have not had any this season thus far. We could this this either of two ways:

1. Keep it as "no mandos" - I keep it as title defences only for the top 14 ranked fighters.

2. Start including the mando title defences, but the title rankings were need to updated ever single week.

We can have an open discussion on this. Perhaps every 4 weeks, a mando week for all belts? Might be better than staggering them which keeps unifications very limited.

I don't mind establishing a king of the hill. I don't want to make unifications impossible to attain.

Right now the software is not compiling belt listings.....it's pissing me off, but we could do a work around. Perhaps 70% of the same top fighters in all belt standings, and then sprinkle the better performing "also rans" into a variety of the remaining 3 slots for each major belt. Somewhat subjective, but better than nothing. Or is too time consuming crease?
