Michael Spinks has achieved Unification status by successfully defending the WBO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP three times consecutively. This is how he did it:

Week 13: Defeated Floyd Patterson by Tehnical Knockout in round 11.
Week 12: Successfully defended against Billy Conn.
Week 11: Succesfully defeneded against Michael Moorer.
Week 10: Defeated Floyd Patterson by Technical nockout in round 9. (Won the WBO Title).

Mike will now be able to unify the WBO Title for every week that he holds it.
