I see on the ukad website that former WBA world champion Brian Magee in results released today tested positive for drug of moment Oxilofrine which sprinters Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell among several others got busted in the past few months.
The positive test was supplied at the post fight drug test after his loss to Mikael Kessler in Herning, Denmark back in December 2012. His six month ban is back dated to the date of the positive test which means he will be free to box again from the 29th of this month. He escaped a longer ban after managing to demonstrate the substance had been an unlabelled ingredient in a sports supplement he had used.
