Anyone Know What Pat Barrett Is Up To These Days?

I know he had the odd scrape with the law, but what's he doing now?

He trains the pro lads at collyhurst and moston with Thomas mcdonagh

Thanks mate, glad it's working out for him.

It's stange, but even though he won the European title and defended it, I thought he underachieved. Loved watching him fight. :TU:

He was a live wire out of the ring as well.

He is from a rough area and someone people look up to; he enjoyed the attention and has a lot of friends. He liked to go out and flatten the doormen, go to different towns and if there was trouble he'd get stuck straight in. It was very important to him that he had a hard street rep. I think I remember that one of his friends was either killed or seriously injured with a knife, others were shot at, etc etc. Nothing secret about it; he's talked about it to reporters. He's got his act well and truelly together though now and is enjoying training etc etc.
