He used to be on Eurosport a fair bit, I remember him hammering Dirk Wallyn and having Tiozzo in all sorts of trouble before getting stopped.

When I think of Dutch boxing I'm reminded of a heavyweight father and son that fought each other quite recently too. The names escape me but they were often found at small hall shows in Germany.

Food for thought thread.the Dutch are one of Europe's biggest nations and probably the leading nation in terms of k1 kickboxing must thai at an elite level and their football hooligans were the only ones able to give the English a run in the 70s and 80 s also a former empire nation.......mind boggling no one firebombing vastly better paid pro boxing

Kraus has had two pro fights (going 2-0). One in September of last year and one this past June. His kickboxing career still seems in full flow though as since last September he's also had five kickboxing bouts.

Kraus is a very good kickboxer and he won the inaugural K1 World Max GP tournament, which was arguably the most prestigious kickboxing tournament at his weight. I doubt, however, that his boxing was good enough for him to make more $$$ boxing than kickboxing, and given the former's larger talent pool he probably wouldn't have competed at such a high level (e.g. winning credible world titles, beating world class opponents, etc). You never know though.

I was unaware that he is a gypsy. I'd be interested in seeing a list of gypsy combat athletes who aren't British or Irish.
