I agree that Matthew Hatton would be a good fight, its more than winnable for Gavin but also a good fight for him to take another step up. I think Hatton would jump at the chance aswell.

@BradleySkeete: Would like to let people know from my own mouth there was no agreement made for me to fight @frankiegavin1
@BradleySkeete: So for all those people thinking I've pulled out of a fight I can't pull out of something that was never agreed!

Wasn't one with FW and the other Hatton?orbtastic wrote:This fight reminds me of Heffron/Vassell. It's a win/win fight for the promoter and he has a tick in the "contractual obligations" box for each fighter.

I got rang this morning saying fights made then got rang saying its off, odonell is a light middle theopane is not getting a shot unless he's European champion like he said to me when he was British, foots people want a few more fights before fighting for British,I would fight Hatton September 21st no prob.
Re: Frankie Gavin v Bradley Skeete
I don't mind Skeete, good little fighter and seems to be developing, bit gangly and ungainly but he has some talent. Gavin a level above him though now, would be nothing more than a ticking over fight and I don't think Skeete is ready for it, so fair play to him, if I was his manager I'd be avoiding it.

Yh patter sons fine also I sparred him am had no problems an I am quite a bad sparrer fight much better, but I will fight anyone for the belt no issues about who I fight I'm on form an will win.
Re: Frankie Gavin v Bradley Skeete
I think Maidana is a little soon mate! Haha. Frankie has only been fighting at british level at the moment so sticking him in with Maidana now would be silly! Frankie, for what it's worth how do you think you would do against Senchenko at this moment in time?

Gavin Vs. Skeete does nothing for me at all. If anything my penis just shrank an inch.

Re: Frankie Gavin v Bradley Skeete
Purdy's struggling with the weight and is taking time off to see if he can still make it. Theophane definitely won't get it like Frankie said. O'Donnell's on the O2 show in an 8 rounder and he's only had 3 8 round fights and a 4 rounder since he lost to Watson 2 1/2 years ago and Watson's only had 2 6 rounders since the Purdy fight 2 years ago. Foot's on the O2 show as well so that leaves Hatton and Lynes who's only fought once since he lost to Witter. Hatton would be a good fight and a chance for Frankie to make a real statement.Horse wrote:M. Hatton, Lynes, Purdy, Theophane, O'Donnell, Watson & Foot are all better opponents than Skeete.

Purdy would be a good measuring stick against Alexander.Horse wrote:It's only one more fight to win the Lonsdale belt outright. A fight against Hatton would be a good measuring stick against Brook and Purdy would be a measuring stick against Alexander. They aren't bad fights for him at this stage.jessi wrote:Gavins to good for anyone in the uk, fight a ranked American, get the U.S prepared for him !
I honestly cant think of a more ridiculous statement that I've read on here .
Gavin could fight him good way to secure the Lonsdale because I think he wins easily.
But you would gain no insight as to whether he could handle Devon at all.
Re: Frankie Gavin v Bradley Skeete
love how kell is getting abuse for fighting a guy who was world champ last year......frankie wants to fight no.14 in uk , no.150 in world who goes by the name of pattycake and nobody blinks an eyelid....only on t'internetFrankie Gavin wrote:Yh patter sons fine also I sparred him am had no problems an I am quite a bad sparrer fight much better, but I will fight anyone for the belt no issues about who I fight I'm on form an will win.

Time off wont help Purdy the fat shite embarrassing his show against Devon he was bloated not really attempted to make weight and was shocking.
Wasted opportunity.
He probably got the big payday and is currently spunking it on Haribo .

Have you not noticed that Kell has had like double the number of fights and been a pro for about 4 years longer?los2 wrote:love how kell is getting abuse for fighting a guy who was world champ last year......frankie wants to fight no.14 in uk , no.150 in world who goes by the name of pattycake and nobody blinks an eyelid....only on t'internetFrankie Gavin wrote:Yh patter sons fine also I sparred him am had no problems an I am quite a bad sparrer fight much better, but I will fight anyone for the belt no issues about who I fight I'm on form an will win.
